I am new to area and needed an internist. I have multiple chronic conditions and major depression with BPD. My first visit was great he was pleasant and kind he seemed confident and offered to handle my Stage 3 renal failure, Diabetes, COPD WITH asthma,
He referred me to a great cardiologist, and
a Orthopedic surgeon for my foot pain.
Soon after moving here I could not find a psychiatrist or counselor with DBT training for my Dx’d BPD and childhood trauma, abuse, PTSD.that treated Medicare advantage patients. I was noticing my mood was getting more angry and was crying for no reason. After 2 months with no help I reached out to Dr Grose. His response to managing my need to increase my mood stabilizer, which was a seizure medication that really helped me and was immediate relief of my symptoms when started months before moving to Arkansas from Spokane, WA. After a lifetime of abuse from my mom and my ex husband of 40 yrs!
I thought everyone dealt with this in their life. And was diagnosed with Major depression and BPD! Was in an intense program called DBT therapy. The psychiatrist and counselors were well versed on care of my issues. I moved here and no one will take my Medicare for Psychiatric help. Dr Grose refused to adjust my medication for my mood or my antidepressant saying he was not a psychiatric doctor and refused to help me when I needed a little compassion and was desperate for help. I ended up wanting to commit suicide to get relief of desperation went to CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. ER dept.
The ER must have been trained by Dr. Grose! They were mentally and physically abusive to me being admitted all alone! No one cared.I had thumbprint bruises to my wrists from them taking my phone away from me before I could let my fiancé know where I was being admitted and he could not find me for 5 days at this facility! Thy lost my car key fob and a pair of silver earrings and as it was not documented, I was lying and got no response from Or Relations and left messages for a Katherine in risk management as well with no response after 3 days of messages. This is another nightmare for me. All because Dr Grose refused to help me when I needed it most!
They Hospital set me up with him for FU visit. I didn’t understand what he was going to do after I was finally seen by a psychiatry team and they increased my mood stabilizer and my antidepressant after 2 agonizing months of desperation. He greeted me, when I told him I didn’t understand why I was seeing him now. His response was you can leave then. But I was having bad indigestion and back pain and spasms from the ER staff lifting me up and slamming into a gurney after I explained I needed a few extra minutes to get on their gurney and they tied restraints on me so tight I was at the bottom. Of the bed and flat. I couldn’t breathe like that. I begged them to put me up in the bed with my head up a little. The charge nurse in ER told me it was my problem and they all left me like that. And gave me 2 injections through my clothes! I was abused and treated inhumanly.
Anyway Dr Grose told me I was not to come back as he was no longer my PCP and refused to give me anything for my severe indigestion and severe muscle spasms as well as a pain Clinic Referal but gave in to pain Referal in Leu of a muscle relaxer that I was given in hospital for my back.
I found a PCP the same day who admitted to NPMC in Hot Springs, AR.
I wouldn’t send my enemies to him or St Vincent Hospital. I am a retired RN who worked all areas of nursing for 38 yrs and ran a locked memory care unit for 4 yrs and would never have tolerated such abuse of any of my patients EVER!!!Don’t send anyone alone to either of these people!!!

These were taken 9 days after admission from St Vincent ER bruises from thumbs!!and a picture I colored I. The locked unit at this hospital. The nurses were better here. But staff was on their phones all shift, when I couldn’t even let my fiancé know where I was at for 5 days!
