I have never encountered a more disorganized and frustrating medical office. I take my uncle to all his appointments, and every visit to his primary care physician has been a challenge. For the past two months, he has been trying to see his doctor with no such luck. Every appointment made ends up being rescheduled due to some issue.

Last month, we had to resort to leaving a written note for his doctor with the front desk staff because he was unable to get an appointment. This month, we scheduled an appointment for early March, only to arrive and be told it was canceled because the doctor was unavailable. While inconvenient and a waste of time and gas, we rescheduled for late March—the earliest available slot. The front desk staff informed us that we could do a walk-in any day before his appointment, as cancellations occur frequently. Despite multiple attempts, each visit resulted in the same response: no availability.

Today, on the actual day of his (long-awaited) appointment, we received a call informing us that it was once again rescheduled because his doctor isn’t there and would be unavailable for another month. At this point, the repeated cancellations and lack of communication are completely unprofessional and incredibly frustrating. Patients deserve better scheduling management and more reliable care.

Update: It’s been a month. We’ve waited the month for his appointment and… they rescheduled again! We will be finding him a new primary doctor as he has several things he needs done, certain medications changed, a referral for his eyes, referral for his knees etc. All of which his “primary” doctor cannot do obviously. Moral of the story, DON’T come here. I have never seen a more unprofessional place in my life. I’d give zero stars if that were an option.

My daughter went to see her primary care physician here, who she's been seeing for nearly 11 years now. She guessed that it could be related to an accident that she was in nearly a half year ago, but with no certainty at all what so ever. Never having experienced this extreme pain in her leg she was scared and worried and did exactly what she was supposed to do which is go to her primary care physician as she has done since she's turned 18. Upon going to the front desk to make it known that she needs to see her long-time doctor. She was very rudely turned away as she was told by two very rude women at the front desk that she can't be seen here if it's related to a car accident. Acting as though they knew for sure when NO ONE DID. They went on to act as though they knew more than her doctor. As they continued to repeat themselves very rudely, not making any sense what so ever. As they continued to say and act as though since she was once hit by a car as she was in a cross walk, she can never come back here to see her primary care physician for the rest of her life. As if she was banned from that point on and sent her away. This is the most unprofessional, incompetent, most nonsensical acts and stupidity that I've ever heard of taking place at any medical facility in my life. Those two females shouldn't be allowed to work behind any desk handling patients, let alone anywhere else. Trust me when I say that they don't even deserve this one star, but much less.

"Primary Care"

Those are the words used to describe most people's primary doctors. Unfortunately, the word "care" seems to have left Dr. Amani's vocabulary. After not having seen my father for over a year due to him having kidney stones and kidney issues resulting from those stones aside from the fact that Dr. Amani himself has been mostly unavailable over the course of my father's struggle with the kidney issues, he was disrespectful, condescending and overall careless to a man who has only ever come to Dr. Amani long before he was a part of Ampla Health. I would not recommend this particular physician. He does not seem to "care". My father will be switching to a different and more available physician very soon. Utterly disappointed.

Went and saw Dr Amani, for a hemorrhoid. Was told by a nurse after 9am they sent the prescription for a suppository and said i was free to leave. I go to my pharmacy, only to be told they never got the prescription. Called ampla and was told it will be sent through. I go back to the pharmacy after 1pm, to once again be told, there is no prescription to pick up. Call Ampla Health again and was told they messaged him to contact me. I wait almost another hour to be told they would send another message!
This is irresponsible for a doctor. I will NOT be coming back and will never trust this company AGAIN. This isn't the first time I've had issues with Ampla Health and im sick of being just another "number" to doctors who work with this company in the couple locations ive been to. The doctors here need to work on their communications with their patience and need to make sure prescription are GOOD TO GO before dealing with the next patient!

I recently visited this clinic and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing staff. The front office was very polite and efficient, and the nurse Amy that took me in was incredibly kind and seemed genuinely concerned with my overall health. This is definitely the kind of support staff every clinic needs!

Richland Clinic Ampla Health staff are always very personable and professional and very thorough. Dr. Jayakrishnan is the best doctor I have ever had! She is so informative, caring , and truly cares about your health. She is also very personable as well and always listens to her patients concerns and tries to find the best solution for the patient! She truly is one of a kind and a very special doctor.

Her Assistant, Karina, is also very helpful, personable and caring. She does what it takes to take care of the patients and beyond, and she does it with a big smile and truly cares about the patients well being.

Hats off to them both for doing such a great job.

I had a great experience with Ampla Health. I came in this morning for an appointment. Dr Reynolds was very thorough with his explanations and the receptionist Raman was extremely kind and helpful. She goes out of her way to accommodate patients.
