On 08/26 I went in for a routine wellness check. The ladies at the front desk were courteous and extremely friendly. They got me checked in and seen by someone in less than 30 minutes. The doctor was attentive and understanding. She answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. My issue was with the technician in charge of drawing my blood. She missed the vein in my left arm because “it rolled.” Then she proceeded to move the needle back and forth inside my vein like a straw in a cup. Afterwards, she missed the vein in my right arm using a butterfly needle once again moving it around with no regard for the way it made me feel. After the two failed attempts she told me, “someone else will have to come find a vein” and left without an apology. She seemed unsympathetic to what happened and I ended up not even being able to give a blood sample. The doctor came in to apologize then told me to come back for a follow up and assured me a more experienced nurse practitioner would be there to draw the samples. I appreciated her empathy but I won’t be giving a blood sample anytime soon.

The staff and doctor were very kind and compassionate. The wait was not lengthy. I received a wonderful bandage and all the prescriptions and supplies to keep me going until I felt well enough to shop for my own.

Great experience! I was in a lot of pain & nurse Stephanie Russell made me feel more comfortable until I relaxed. She was very thorough & patient. The doctor was great also; understanding the pain I felt. I highly recommend AFC!

The doctor and the student were very professional and thorough with my symptoms and the remedy to relieve my issue. However, I sat at least another 30 minutes waiting for my prescription. I’m not sure if they forgot about or not. That is why I can’t give a 5-star review. Otherwise, they have always provided good care and customer service.

I walked in an hour before closing. Didn’t wait to long. Nurse that checked me in and did my BP, weight, and temp was really nice. Doctor was nice and did every test she could to figure out my sickness. The nurse that did those tests and gave me my shot however…..was cold and full of attitude with no kindness whatsoever. Like I was inconveniencing her from going home since it was well past closing time by now.

I had to get a sports physical last minute and I went in. I was in the waiting room, sports physical was $35 which wasn’t bad. I waited for 10-15 minutes and then I was called in. Took my weight, height, blood pressure, and pulse, pulled me into a room and doctor had me out in 15 minutes. Overall I had a quick and well walk in appointment.

I showed up with my 8 year old son having his first asthma attack. I had forgot my wallet and was in tears. They helped check me in and were able to pull up my information because we had been there before. They treated him quickly and compassionately and we were both a wreck. It's the next morning now and he is a million times better. I don't know if it was a life and death thing. But it felt like they saved his life to me. Thank you.
