VERY POOR bedside manner 100%. Will not listen to you or care about what you say. She talks OVER you. Even her assistants are stressed. The way she talks to them is so unprofessional. I did notice her wearing flipflops on one occasion and her feet were horribly dirty. She acts like you are filth. Why be a doctor if you don't care about the patients? Even tho she is listed as an ortho who does knee replacements, she told me she doesnt do them and to get a second opinion and referred me to someone else. She also, on several occasions, told me stories of other patients that were too obese for certain procedures, basically referring to my situation. But then would have the line "Oh Im not talking about you" added onto the end of her story. So rude. Would have loved to tell her about my life and my pain, but she has no care in the world. Adventist has the worst providers and I will not be back.

Very poor Doctor. She not only wears flip-flops in the exam rooms, which is a big No in healthcare, but this Dr. failed to inform me of the details of my post-op recovery. I continue to be blindsided by the stuff happening to my knee. I discontinued care after my first post-op appointment due to the continuing failures to inform me about what to expect. She was rude, incompetent, short and very unprofessional. I will be getting a second opinion on her work by a orthopedic in Sonoma County. I WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE. SHE NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED ON HER ETHICS AND SAFETY. THE MEDICAL BOARD NEEDS TO REVIEW HER PRACTICES.

I slipped on black ice and broke my hip. I was taken by ambulance to the ER where Dr Chatwin did emergency surgery and when I woke I felt So much better thank you so much Dr Chatwin although I have a long long road ahead of me I feel thankful I had you to care for me.

Excellent doctor. Very particular about follow up & in hospital care. If you don’t make enough effort in your rehab, she will tell you to step it up, but I see that as a plus.
