I'm not one who likes going to the Dr but Ms
Amanda changed all of that. I made an appointment and went as my blood sugar is all messed up. Ms. Amanda came in and I LOVED her. She told me that I was broken but she'll help to get me back on track. She listened to me! Not once did she do what the other doctors did, ask about my insurance and try to get me to do a "procedure". She checked my blood sugar and even told me that my A1C wasn't great but it won't take long to get it where I want it. She was AMAZING! I truly dreaded this appointment as I don't like going to the doctor, but then who does? I also met with the diabetic nutritionist, sorry I forgot her name, but she too was AMAZING. Went home with a list of diabetic friendly foods and some that I've been eating that aren't diabetic friendly. I hate to admit it but in 2017 when I found out I had diabetes my blood sugar was 1897, then about a month ago it was 25. I only admit to what it's been like so that anyone with diabetes and a fear of the doctor can and will go see Ms. Amanda. She didn't make me feel like it was all my fault. I get my insulin, that I inject, from Mosteller clinic when they have it in stock, which seems to be never. Anyway if you need a diabetic doctor Ms. Amanda is the one to see. Never ever go to Dynamic Pain and Wellness. That's for another time when I renew them.

With every visit Amanda Toris has made me feel like I was a person, NOT a number. It's very rare to find this these days. She really cares about your health and she listens. You don't feel rushed in any way, Amanda makes you feel heard. She is very kind, has empathy, and treats you like you're the only patient that she has. Absolutely hands down the best and I am so thankful for her.
