Was a complete mess when I got there 3 years ago , but love and care and understanding from nurse Bobby Dr brooks and some others I am 3 years clean sober got my whole life on track again. Thank you all at alter pointe for giving me my life back.

I recently had an appointment with my daughter at Children’s Outpatient. Everyone from the front desk staff to Dr. Todd were incredibly professional and polite. The services we received were excellent. Dr. Todd took time to thoroughly discuss our concerns and make a plan for us. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs this type of care!

I went there for depression and they didn't help me at all. Yes I am young and I feel the need to tell your children, friends, or family do not go there. It makes you uncomfortable and there were cockroaches in my bed and all around horrible. The workers yell at night down the halls, and they are horrible to children. It did not help me at all. I went there in January and talking about this place still makes me cry. Imagine someone younger going there. Think how long they will be crying over this place . If you love who you are considering going to Alta Point, I beg you don’t make them go through hell.

The main reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is the waiting room is WAY to small. The facility is clean, the workers are very pleasant and DR Gatla has been great and we hate to see her go and hope that DR Todd is just as good.

Has to be the worse place in mobile for your children to be treated because my child has been there over 2 years now all of a sudden she has to do a counseling session before she can have her appointment which has been set for 6 months because it’s a policy change but they will only do the appointments from 1230-230 certain days of the week I explained that I am a single mom an that would require me to take the whole day off an I can not afford it an they do not care it would be different if she was a new patient or seeing someone new but unfortunately there aren’t many places to get your children’s adhd medication from in mobile especially a non stimulant so she doesn’t get addicted to the medication

Pure Garbage. So unfortunate this is the only Child Psychiatry Office that accepts Medicade in the Mobile and surrounding area because this place is pure trash..

Worst mental health place I've ever been to. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Alot of crooked people work here & they don't seem to care about people getting better or your mental health. This place has a reputation for not caring about people mental health & it stays in the news
