I don't recommend the urgent care here. The waiting time is long, they are unwilling to prescribe medicine, and they asked me to make an appointment with a doctor in 3 months at the earliest, and then charged me up to $200.

Went to West Covina location twice. First time I went and said they couldn’t take me in as they had reached capacity at 8pm, they close at 9pm. Gave it a second chance another day and went at 7pm and also couldn’t take me in as they again had reached capacity once again!! Both times parking lot looked empty. Not sure how many patients it takes to reach capacity. They should advertise Urgent Care if they are not willing to take patients in when they are still “open”.

P.S. went to Lakeside Urgent and got taken care of within 10 minutes.

I dont understand the low ratings ! but it was our first time here and it was very fast. Dr was quick, efficent, and great bedside manners for my child 💯. Took about 30 min in total. All staff -from check-in to MA's were very kind and attentive . Excellent Urgent Care and will definetly be back and recommend. Clinic is being run very effectivly. Kudos to office/clinic managers. 👍

I would absolutely love to give this place 0 stars if I could. Easily the most incompetent “front office” and phone service I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Can’t even speak for the medical staff because I never got the chance to see them despite coming here 3 times in 3 days.

I will gladly take the 5x higher cost of an ER visit than to ever think about coming here again. Left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am doing whatever I can to leave AltaMed group altogether.

Came here to the urgent care around 10am. They told us to wait in the car. We waited, around 12:45pm we went to ask how much longer they said 40 min. They keep calling people in that got here after us. I’m so upset making us wait this long for nothing. It’s 2pm and still haven’t called us in. I do not recommend this urgent care or medical facility at all. Wasted our time. Next time just go to the ER if you really want to be seen. This is ridiculous!

Edit: It’s 2:13pm we just arrived to the ER and I received a call from Alta Med to register me and I told the lady we had left the office because they were taking people in before us, they were taking too long and I’m not feeling well, She says “oh so you don’t wanna be seen OK that’s fine”. This is so unprofessional!!

If I could give 0 I would. Im at the facility with my wife and unborn child, and im being denied entrance to know about my childs health and well being in an ultrasound. I have seen multiple patience walk in with there partners and also patience with with non service dogs walk in with no problem. I just don't get it. I feel like im being discriminated.

This urgent care is a waste of a drive been there 3 times and denied service that they cant take anymore people for the day it only being 6pm first called the number to verify i would be able to be seen since i have been denied before they said yes no problem get there with 3 cars in the parking lot and got denied got sent to a different urgent care which they said they already know they send patients to them cause they want to go home early they have been reported for being a urgent care and denying patients.. report them everyone need to follow through..
