But they send me emails...but no envelopes to my house about the charges .. . Now it's in collections system

Me and my daughter waiting for doctor to come they take so long we been waiting for waiting room for so long no nurse can around to check again so I come out from room to talk to nurse no help yet I ask one of the nurses she said one side is for clinic other side is OB doctor I said why they take so long to see patients here I really don’t understand how altmed takes so long to check on there patients when they wait for the doctor to get examined I don’t understand my daughter get undressed to get checked we been waiting for so long now is 20 minutes I really don’t understand why altmed is so committed in there appointment and referral where are when they have there appointment where to call and what doctor because altmed have different doctors all the time I don’t get it just know they need to fix there system and data base to whom they need to put on the right phone number on the line so much they need to fix there something .. on there system is all messed up …

Worst care that I’ve ever received. It’s really disappointing that my doctor doesn’t share the same concerns that I do regarding my medical care. I have zero trust in the the doctors at Alta Med and as soon as I’m able, I’m changing my PCP & leaving AltaMed.

Horrendous horrible atrocious service. My parent has a misfortune of having Altamed as a provider on their medi-cal plan - we keep going through the circles of insurance hell to obtain an authorization for an urgent surgery. Every doctor we talk to emphasizes the urgency, yet receiving the approvals with Altamed is a painfully long process. After three days in a row of speaking to Altamed, countless minutes on the phone with Altamed, PCP and the doctor's office - I am yet to receive the much needed URGENT approval.

If you happen to have medi-cal health insurance, check your provider, and if you notice Altamed - change your provider immediately. Do not wait until an emergency happens.

Altamed has no sense of urgency, no compassion, no system of accountability. We have to make multiple phone calls to get this escalated only to wait for 24-72 hours for another and then another URGENT approval. Then start the multiple phone calls to get any kinda of status updates - if you do not call yourself, they will not call you or text you or email - they will eventually send your URGENT procedure authorization by snail mail - yes, that is how urgent it is for them to get the approval to you.

There is no way to see your approvals online - there is a dashboard but it's a bunch of blank pages.

Alta med is the worst possible medical care you can get and I regret choosing this plan. I will definitely change asap. I've had insurance thru my job and I know what good medical care is and it's definitely not this place. This place offers bare minimum care yet takes millions in tax payer money. Do not and I repeat do not choose this plan you're better off seeing a veterinarian.

Poor service. I want to complain. Dont useLumona dental service got dentures that hurt my gums ill fitted. Trying to solve problem now. They use pharmacy of their choice it has been 1 week have not received meds. Think I am going to have a stroke. Changed to 3 provides on 7 monthsr

I tried to call this office for hours and hours but the phone is always busy. I was able to successfully be contacted but put on hold for another 55 minutes. So frustrating
