In the summer of 2023, I had the good fortune to discover Dr. Adam Barragan's practice, for which I am immensely grateful. Whereas my previous experiences with medical care had been transactional in nature, my dealings with Dr. Barragan have been marked by his comprehensive and caring approach. Dr. Adam Barragan is the best primary care physician I’ve ever visited. He’s compassionate, pragmatic, and really takes the time to listen and investigate. On our first visit he spent over an hour with me including a complementary OMT session which certainly felt great for my back and shoulders. I’m several months into his care and my quality of life has improved. I strongly recommend Dr. Barragan for those who are looking for a kind, well-educated partner in health.

We had the best experience with Dr. Adam! We moved to Florida from out of state, and of all the DPC practices we contacted he was the first one to respond. He sent an incredibly helpful email response with extra information about the area and some OB recommendations since I'm pregnant. At our first visit, he spent 2 hours going over our family's health history. He's kind, professional, knowledgeable, and so friendly. Would recommend 11/10 and wish we could leave 6 stars! This is the way healthcare should be.

I have been so pleased with Dr Barragan. I finally feel as though I am getting the healthcare I have wanted for so long. My previous experiences consisted of rushed appointments, half listening to what I was saying, not seeing my primary but rather being pushed off onto the NP, no thoughtful discussion about my health needs due to lack of time, and needed appointments were scheduled out a month or more. Those days are now over. I finally feel as though I have a collaborative working relationship with my doctor. Dr Barragan is very knowledgable, and we discuss throughly what is going on with me at the moment. There is no impatience with my many questions, and he appreciates that I want a more in-depth understanding of the issue at hand. It's easy to communicate with Dr Barragan, and I get a response within the day. Appointments are not rushed at all, and I feel as though I am fully being heard and understood. He also has solid recommendations when a referral is needed, and good working relationships with these other practitioners. I think this is probably more of how healthcare was before HMOs. Highly, highly recommend!
