Decent selection, but prices do not reflect what you get at check out. I have the Albertsons app and usually get the for u deals. I entered my phone number at checkout and I did not receive the discount on my items. I told the person at checkout and they did not resolve this issue for me so I would not shop at the store again since the prices are misleading.

Went to Albertson’s and Purchased chips that I thought were on sale. Bought the 4 bags and noticed they were not on sale. Requested for a refund. Tyler said I had to go through the self check cashier. That cashier said he couldn’t do it I needed to get in line which I did. He told me he couldn’t give me a refund, needed to go too the manager. Which I did, she basically didn’t want to hear me gave me refund! They were rude and blew me off!

Robots could do the job better than most of these employees. What a clear reminder that some people are just not as capable as others. When 95% of these folks are replaced w robots this store will function much better.

So they say if you'd like to know how clean a place really is, go check out the bathrooms. As a food delivery driver I use the bathrooms at grocery stores quite often and I must say, this is by far the most filthy, unhygienic and flat out disgusting bathroom I have seen at a grocery store in my life. It's not just a one time thing as I've been doing grocery delivery from this store for 3 years and it has been consistently disgusting. I've mentioned it nicely a few times and it seems that they just address what they consider the main issues and leave the rest but I am here to tell u that there is feces all over this bathroom, on doors and walls all over toilets to the floors. There's almost always no soap either so u can be sure the employees that are handling our food are passing on E-Coli or worse and frequently. It's highly disappointing considering we're shopping in one of California's most expensive cities and the prices match so how can it have gone this long and this bad? There has been a swipe of feces on the first bathroom door for 6 months. It's never been touched. I avoid this store other than for deliveries now. They really need to step their game up.

Edit: Since leaving review I was contacted and assured that the only reason the bathroom is a mess is from the homeless in town, while this may be true the person I spoke with neglected to acknowledge that regardless of how the bathroom gets dirty, the cleaning staff is sub par. They have now added a code to the restroom door. However, that's the only change that has been made. The restroom is still disgusting. I went in yesterday and there were no seat liners, and the seat was covered in feces again. There is still quite a bit of mold growing and the soap was empty. So people are now pressing buttons to get in with their dirty hands, having to use a toilet that's covered in bacteria, and then unable to properly wash their hands before going back to shopping and spreading these germs. Seems like the laziest possible solution. This is a major company in a beautiful, expensive beach town. It's absolutely unacceptable that they can't properly clean a restroom.

The Albertsons Supermarket in Carpinteria California is TOP NOTCH.
I have been shopping there for 15+ years.
After there remodeling , the quality and the selection of items, stepped up a notch.
My only gripe is that the company that makes the Linn Pie's does not keep there freezer stocked !!!!!
Linn Pie's are delicious, but they are slow at keeping there rented space stocked !!!!!

Large, recently updated and expanded grocery store with convenient freeway access. Credit cards & cash accepted. Self-checkout as well as assisted checkout.

Massive selection of fresh produce. Large meat selection. Definitely the biggest traditional grocery store in Carpinteria.
