My mom was getting to a point that she could not walk and was wheel chair bound. She needed help with just about everything. including getting dressed, help getting on the toilet and taking showers. Affordable home care agency referred us to a wonderful caregiver. We were able to negotiate a reasonable price directly with a caregiver which allowed us to utilize the caregiver for more hours than we would have been able to afford with other companies. The caregiver was so nice that overtime she felt like family. We highly recommend Affordable Home Care Agency in Concord.

I had to find last minute care for my dad who is 78 and recovering from knee replacement surgery. This agency was able to find a caregiver at the last minute and work with me everyday for two weeks providing care as-needed. They always answer their phone with courtesy and professionalism. I worked with Emily and Annie and they were so easy to talk to, caring, and responsive. All the caregivers were well-qualified and easily worked with my dad, which is not an easy task. I will definitely use this service again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone that needs it. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

I needed to find care for my grandmother, she is 83 years old and was recently diagnosed with dementia. My family and I have never had to care for previously, as she was always very independent. It's been a scary few months trying to figure out what steps to take, to make sure she has help at home while I'm working. The customer service I received was top-notch! Annie made me feel comfortable, and was so knowledgeable she was able to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be recommending Affordable Home Care Agency to my friends and co-workers in the future, should they ever find themselves in need of these services.

Awesome customer service!
The caregivers we worked with were experienced and compassionate. My Mother in law felt comfortable and safe from the start which was our biggest goal. Especially because it took some convincing to finally get help in the home. We were recommend to Affordable from John Muir Hospital and they did not disappoint! Would 100% recommend!!

Finding quality caregivers was so much more challenging than I had initially anticipated. My sister had found an agency, called Affordable Home Care, that she heard good things from some colleagues. I decided to call Affordable Home Care and I am SO VERY GRATEFUL to have connected with them. Annie is so very helpful. I mentioned to Annie that this was the first time I needed to get caregiving support for my Mom. I wanted caring, responsible caregivers that I would feel comfortable being with my Mom. Annie was very patient and carefully listened to my needs. On occasion I would need to modify (extend caregiving coverage, request different support, etc) my Mom’s caregiving coverage and Annie and the rest of the Affordable Home Care team were always there to assist.

Truly all I can say is WOW!! this company is amazing!
First thing that I noticed was that the treated my Grandmother like she was a real person with emotions and feelings, not a number!
I noticed that they truly care and it shows in the compassion they show to there clients. My grandmother gets super excited and loves to be around the caregivers.

Looking to collect your inheritance early? Annoying older relative you want to get rid of? This is the company for you. For a mere $600 a day, they will help you dig an early grave for your loved one. Our caregiver administered the wrong medications, insisted on parking in the garage, broke the garage door parking in there(which we had to pay for), and took down all of our family pictures on the side of the house she stayed on. My grandpa has health issues common with older people, but he’s been to the hospital once in the last 7 years. Recently he broke his hip, making it the second hospital trip. He did two months in rehabilitation for his hip and then came home with care from this horrible company! He came home fine, aside from the hip. A week and a half later he starts having health issues and acting crazy (thinking he’s in different places). It’s abnormal to us and he goes in the hospital. They fix him up and he goes home normal again. Another week passes and we decide something isn’t right so he ends up back in the hospital. The caregiver gave him medicine for sleep we didn’t want him to take. She was obsessive about her sleep and that meant he needed to be knocked out so she didn’t have to worry about him. After she left I found Advil PM in addition to the other medicine he wasn’t supposed to be taking. She was giving him these two things for sleep without any permission from anybody and without any knowledge of his health. One of his health concerns that’s usually manageable is his kidneys. Regular people know Advil is bad for your kidneys. His kidneys were failing which also caused fluid backup in his heart. Doctors have confirmed with tests he has no mental issues and the craziness was coming from the failing organs. Luckily she left during his second hospital visit. He’s been home almost 3 weeks and he’s magically back to his old self. No health issues and no craziness. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!

No this place is shady and they charge for overtime without permission. This place cost us $2,000 for two days of care.My mother had to be rushed to the hospital and they charged us for 12 hours of care ($350) and the carer said she would stay at my mother's home in case she wasn't admitted to the hospital and we would have to pay for the shift even though we were not home. Needless to say she was not there when we returned after 3 hours. Very very low brow care provided and shady practices by this company. find another one.
