Aegis changes lives, when you’re ready to live sober. Also the best of counselors are the ones who don’t penalize you for making mistakes. The good ones know that it’s hard enough to show up and be on your program so they know how to maneuver and have understanding for the recovering addict. They don’t take away privelages such as, taking your take homes if you miss a session of counseling here or there, and they stand up for you when they know you are doing your absolute best. Some other staff should take note and do the same That’s a recipe for success. Majority of staff are phenomenal, nursing staff and Doctor are the best. Thank you Aegis for saving lives every day. Patience and understanding are the key to Aegis success!

Great place, nice staff, some miscommunication between employees from time to time but relatively easily resolved. That being said the cleanliness could be better, the bathrooms that have to be used are not up to par.

Aegis has been a hassle since the beginning February 2023, Christina especially in the office is RUDE every time I come in with my boyfriend to try and get things straight since I'm on his paperwork. Can't wait to leave California and Aegis. They need to actually do their jobs and stop always saying,"Talk to your counselor", when the counselor has told us several times that he doesn't do what the front desk is requesting him to do and the front desk needs to stop saying that!!! This place as far as employees is a JOKE!!! Christina needs an attitude adjustment BIG TIME!!!!

I recently connected with Clara Smith (C.Lee) for community outreach for my agency. She was very prompt and came over with many great resources. I am so grateful to have meet and collaborated with her. She is highly motivated in the community and a wonderful resource. She is working towards building a stronger more connected Shasta County. I thought these people were supposed to help their clients. Obviously Not!! They show bias towards certain clients & don't allow take homes, when said client has been following their guidelines with favorable tests & maintaining counseling as required, they come up with excuses for not giving said client her take homes. After driving an hour away for almost 2 years now, they have No Regard for the wear & tear on our vehicle or any concerns of their clients having to maintain a job/household. A clients life should not have to revolve around this clinic on a daily basis in order to stay off opioids/drugs. The way a client is treated at this facility is beyond Pathetic. They keep adding new rules & excuses to avoid giving their clients take homes, or just showing their bias towards certain clients. Disgraceful!!

I'd first just like to say thank you to all of the staff at Aegis, you've never made me feel as if I was less than, because of my addiction. I've always felt like I was being treated with respect, even when I wasn't being very nice myself! Lol And I hope that you all know that you are appreciated very much!
But I would like to also mention that here in Redding it's very difficult to admit that you are an addict,or tell them anything about being in treatment. They have been very judgemental and opinionated , about something they know very little about. I only wait for the people in Redding to become informed before bringing judgement amongst us addicts. No one in this world is without having committed a sin. And you should never judge other's when you haven't walked in their shoe's?! If you could please keep your ignorant, uneducated opinions to yourselves it would be greatly appreciated. We are all in this together and we need one another to succeed. So please say something positive if you know someone who is in treatment, because what they are doing is very hard, and also very brave! . This community could do so much more if only they accepted all people,no matter where they are in their own personal journey. So please be kind to all! It's not hard to do and if you want to see change your going to have to be part of the change you want to see! Thanks! And thank you Aegis you are truly saving lives, and that's just the beginning!

If you are considering getting clean and aren't sure just do it. Aegis in Redding is amazing the manager kraton front staff and counselors only want to see you succeed.
