During my evaluation, the man told me that “since you blew such a high number, it’s mandatory you have to have a second eval to see if you need to go into a program. You probably won’t need to go into a program though.” The second eval was today, and the first thing the therapist told me was that I only have to go into the program because the first guy referred me to them. So the first evaluation guy either is SEVERELY mis informed, or just straight up lies to people. Oh, and for your info, the program is $35 a week, an hour a week, for 16-18 weeks, in the evenings. Obviously you HAVE to go to the first eval, so if I was you I’d lie, because they’re just here to get your money. Not to help or punish.
EDIT! Now, they’ve had me drive to get my scram bracelet, (an hour drive) TWICE! The first time, the lady didn’t show up, this time, “they don’t have a bracelet for me”!!

Despite the circumstances, this was a very positive experience with a highly professional and compassionate staff. The program was an eye-opener and should be a part of every high school curriculum or driver's course. My personal thanks to those who helped me and treated me with dignity in an humiliating experience.

Horrible. Just another money maker for a small county "bubba network" judicial system. 13 class participants out of about 22-24 DUIs were written by the same officer. Probably has a relative who works for the program as do tow truck drivers, bondsman and local lawyers. When I mentioned this the instructor threatened to expel me from the class and I would have to retake, and of course if so, repay to do so.

they talk about helping veterans on their website...
I'm a veteran ....
I completed dui school level 1 and the vip class
they changed my evaluation, (after I was told by the evaluator that treatment was optional) to needing an assessment
They told me in an email that I need an assessment to see if I need treatment or not
They then sent an email trying to influence the therapist I hired for the assessment to require treatment
They rounded my bac up so it becomes acceptable to the legal requirements of the dmv..
They are telling me about dmv requirements that don't show up on the dmv forms that I have...
they are going out of their way to violate my probation ...
When I ask questions they get upset and accuse me of saying things that I didn't say.. giving me the run around...
They told me one thing at the beginning and then changed everything at the end...

Im in disbelief that this is happening to me after surviving having covid and doing a full year of probation cause of the delays of the pandemic...
