I had a wonderful experience. I was taken right back with the symptoms I was experiencing and although the nurse did offer me a blanket or the tv remote. A young man minutes late interpersonal skills made me forget that I was cold. He went and found a warm blanket and gave me the remote and explained the room would be ready in a minute. After that it was great.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kyle for the second time as he was familiar about my last visit. Then there was Adam who graced my presence. Both gentlemen have great bedside manners and very polite. They knew the answers to the questions I had and made me feel like more than just a patient. Please let them know I said, “thanks for the care they gave me and I see them going further in their careers!” Wonderful visit and the hospital was clean. Everyone from check in to my doctors were great in the service they delivered!

This ER has gone downhill! The majority of the staff is very professional very informative and an absolute pleasure however the nurse Delaney I personally want as a man passed by with his urine sample that is obviously bloody and her look at another nurse in disgust. This is not my first time seeing this particular nurse. Every single interaction I've ever had or this nurse has been around she is rude unprofessional she gives the dirtiest most disgusted looks constantly she's not friendly at all God forbid you have a question Don't go to her she will legit act like you are just bothering her. Otherwise everyone else I have interacted with at this hospital has been pretty pleasant.

The worst hospital experience I've ever had. It makes me nervous to go to a hospital ever again. I pulled my back out the day before and was in excruciating pain. The doctor just made things worse and outright lied to me multiple times. His solution was to push painkillers on me that I didn't ask for, do a CT scan after which I was left in a room alone for 3-4 hours with vital sensors and an IV that wasn't hooked up to anything. They didn't even plug in the hospital bed. After a few hours I called for a nurse 30 minutes past and no one came. So I wanted to leave and go home after realizing they were not doing anything for me. The nurse shoved a form at me to sign that said my leaving would be against my doctors medical recommendation and that he had explained this and the consequences to me and that my leaving would cause my insurance not to cover the visit. I was fuming. No such conversation had taken place at all. At that point I hadn't seen my doctor for hours. I was in so much pain. I was trembling and crying but waited for the results of my CT scan another hour later so I wouldn't be fully financially responsible for the visit and then my partner had to take me in a wheelchair out of there. The next day I was able to go to a walk-in clinic to get the steroid shot in my back that I had hoped for in the hospital. It should be embarrassing that a small town walk-in clinic was able to take care of my problem at no cost to me over a giant Advent Health Hospital in the USF area of downtown Tampa. If I could leave negative stars I would.

Tina was amazing. I walked in with my seven year old daughter having an allergic reaction. As I was speaking to the front desk, Tina was already assessing my daughter and taking her back almost instantly. She was genuinely concerned and did not want anything to escalate with the allergic reaction. Once we had a room, Tina was by our side the whole time. She made my daughter feel at ease. She was quite funny as well. And she was so easy to talk with. My daughter was fine and we were in and out within 2 hours max with such a pleasant experience.

I never write reviews the team at advent health deserves one! Before coming here I had called ahead to have made sure the advent health team was capable of doing my requested procedure and whoever I spoke to on the phone was very kind and answered all my questions with thorough explanation so I decided to make the visit right away. First time coming here, due to an embedded piercing stuck in my lip and urgent care elsewhere could not handle it for me. I was admitted right away with no wait and every staff member I met was polite and attentive. Dolan and Tara helped me with the removal of it and both were professional and put my comfort first. The procedure ended up being a bit more time consuming and difficult than we had anticipated, but Tara especially, was very sweet and both took their time to ensure a comfortable procedure. I was also given extras to take home just in case there may have been additional, normal bleeding. The lady who came in to also help me discuss my options for billing was very thorough and had no problem with elaborating for my options. I had a smooth time at this location that I would have no problem coming here again! Thanks so much. 🙂

If you are having an emergency, you are better off driving to a farther ER than this one. This ER is absolutely horrendous. Their time management is atrocious, they don’t utilize their employees properly, and their staff is completely unprofessional. Employees sit on their phones instead of doing their jobs. They don’t prioritize patients who genuinely need urgent care. I was there with excruciating stomach pain, vomiting, and crying my eyes out in agony, but they were more concerned with helping a homeless person. That’s incredibly unfair, especially since I’m paying out of pocket. I was experiencing an emergency, went unconscious multiple times, and still remained in the lobby. They don’t care about taking care of you or helping you understand what’s wrong. They are utterly incompetent. For your own safety and health, go to any other doctor or ER because this one is an absolute disaster.

I waited a long time to go back to triage. Then there was a communication problem with the person upfront and the triage nurse. She wasn't ready for me yet. Which was very frustrating. Then when I finally went to triage it was good. Then she took me to a room my bed wasn't ready. And the room was disgusting. Trash on the floor, medicine and syringes on the counter. Trash in the sink, the room was terrible and I was concerned about sterilization. The whole floor smelled like urine. You think when you walk in a hospital. That it should smell sterile like rubbing alcohol. My doctor was great, my nurse never introduced his self. I never saw him until I mashed my button. So I felt like the whole experience wasn't good. I was afraid I was going to walk in there and catch something. Just my opinion.
