This was my first experience doing a sleep study in a sleep facility. I can say without a doubt my anxiety and stress of sleeping in a strange environment was very quickly dissolved the moment I stepped into the building. Nancy was very inviting and friendly when I walked in. Nancy was compassionate and caring for all my needs as she answered my questions and addressed any of my concerns. Nancy explained everything very well as she “wired me up” to the machines that would be tracking my sleep. The clinic was clean and as comfortable as possible considering my purpose of going here. I am thankful for AdventHealth opening a center like this for this purpose to serve the community and surrounding area needs.

This was my 1st sleep study, although my son has had them previously at a different facility. The facility was very clean and quiet. Nurse Liz was very friendly and professional throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend this facility and Liz to anyone in need.

A very cozy place. I was surprised at how comfortable it was there. The rooms have a private toilet, it was very clean there, and the air temperature was just about right. My five-year-old daughter needed to have a slip test. Besides the fact that the sensors themselves may not have been particularly comfortable, she did not complain about anything and slept like an angel. Liz, our sleep register, was incredibly sweet and nice, an amazing professional. Thanks to her, it was quite a pleasant experience.
A little advice for those who are nervous: take your blanket and pillow with you, that helped.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the sleep study facility. It was very clean & comfortable. Liz, my nurse, was very professional while also being very friendly & reassuring as I was nervous about the study.

I had a sleep study, was not sure what was going to happen. It was a very good Experience and outcome. The tech Lis was very informative, very friendly. The room was very clean and I had a Private bathroom. Surprisingly, the mattress was very comfortable it's not a hospital bed lol . I slept really good it was so quiet that helped me fall a sleep

This was my first time in a sleep lab. Nancy was nice. However, the directions had me print and fill out a sleep log the week before which they did not need. The directions also stated to bring shampoo and other toiletries even though this location does not have a shower! The place smelled musty and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. You can hear the other patients. The bed was not comfy.

My first time on this place and the last one. Their technician is the worst. I had a sleep study before in Indiana and compared to that one I was expecting much more considering that for one night in Deland they charged me almost $4,000. Not cheap. My arrival was scheduled at 7:45 PM and by the time the technician Mark plug the sensors it was almost 9:30, so almost two hours sitting in a room with TV but no cable, the TV is just for décor. So, I took the time to read the document they provide with the patient rights and responsibilities. Good thing I did because now I can say for sure that those rights are only good in the paper but not in practice. One that caught my attention said, “The patient has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.” It seemed to me that Mark’s biggest concern was to make sure the sensors do not get unplugged otherwise is more work for him. He repeated over and over that the sensor cannot get detached. With these words and his attitude, who can relax to sleep? It was anything but relaxing. Around 1:30 A I woke up because I could not breathe for my apnea but for the high pressure coming from the CPAP. Just by instinct I removed the mask, and all hell broke loose with Mark who stormed into my room yelling to not remove the mask. What would he expect me to do if I felt like being waterboarded? Then the lectured begins telling me that I was the one who asked them for the study … like if it was charity… $4,000 buys you much more that I received. The right to be treated with respect and dignity? Mark, you skipped that page. Then before you leave you must fill in a survey with an answer already checked by who knows who. They want to make sure the feedback is what they want. By posting this review I want to save you not only money but time and a bad experience. If you read the other bad reviews, you will note that their answer is the same: “sorry you had this experience, somebody will contact you or call us and we will do…. what? Nothing!

Beds comfortable, pillows too. Liz, the attending nurse was terrific. Very friendly and kind.
I'm not fond of sleep studies but she made it 'bearable.'
