First, I called to check on status on overnight oximeter watch being sent to me. Because I had been waiting at least a week and a half and still had not received it. Someone came on the line and stated that this facility is not a network provider. I told her that I had spoke with my insurance company and that the insurance company sent me a directory page with Advents address and phone number and reiterated that this provider IS a network provider. So, Advent was going to check insurance again and would call me back. They called back to schedule delivery.

I waited on hold for 16 minutes and dispatch never did answer. Called back and 8 minutes went by before the operator came back. She said that she was going to send a message to dispatch to call me. They, dispatch, did call me back and I confirmed address to send kit to.

Very poor service, don't return phone calls, extremely disorganized, very unprofessional. When you visit the physical location, very little activity is going on, there is hardly ever any other patients there, so I have no clue as to why they are so "busy" that they give the horrible service that they give. I have no axe to grind, I don't know anyone there and when I meet with anyone there, they are nice enough. It just seems like the whole office is faking it when it comes to work load and simply not providing timely, accurate or good service. Then, their billing department over billed me for services that my insurance company paid for and I had to call to have them correct it. Not a good situation.

When we moved to Texas I had a difficult time getting Florida Hospital to forward my records. The respiratory company I was using in Texas called FHR numerous times and I called numerous times but they were extremely slow in responding. The staff was very rude. I had no oxygen equipment to get from Florida to Texas and had to purchase a machine on line to get to Texas. FHR said I could rent one from them. I guess the company is fine if you stay in Florida but I do not recommend them if you have to move out of the Central Florida area.
