Great hospital, employees(Nirses) pretty friendly. Out of all the hospitals I have to say is our number one choice. The only complaint that I have is that, we waited way to long for a room. People shouldn’t have to wait hours to get a room/admitted. I FEEL LIKE THEY WANTED THE CLOCK TO RUN FOR BILLING PURPOSE, ADMIN AND WHOEVER MAKES THE DECISIONS INCLUDING DR’s. Be honest and quicker on getting your patients into a room for emergency and upstairs when they are admitted, THANK YOU!!

PS: I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 stars but there’s too much time wasted!

The hospital was great from arriving and greeted by wonderful Valet parking which was free ( but nice to tip them) to walking straight in to the reception area where a visitor pass was given my driver who was able to stay with me from the time I went in till the time I went for outpatient surgery He was given a area to wait Updates of my surgery was given on a screen with a number which he had for privacy the staff was more than helpful, pleasant wonderful not a bad word I could say about any of them. They were wonderful. I was taking good care of my driver was given all the instructions he had no problems. I’d highly recommend this hospital. They were good and my surgeon was great

I recently had to visit AdventHealth in Ocala, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding care I received from start to finish. From the ambulance transport team to the ER staff and nurses, everyone was professional, compassionate, and efficient.

The EMS team arrived quickly, ensured I was comfortable, and communicated with me every step of the way. Once at the ER, the nurses and staff were incredibly attentive, making sure I was well taken care of and keeping me informed about my treatment. Their kindness and dedication truly made a stressful situation much more manageable.

I’m grateful for the excellent care I received and highly recommend AdventHealth Ocala for their top-notch emergency services. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond!

I appreciate the care and attention from all the doctors and nurses. They are well trained and have a great amount of compassion. I was in the emergency room and felt like I was home around my own family. Nurse Michelle, you are an amazing person, thank you for advocating for me and just being present. My experience in the emergency room was excellent. The process was efficient and effective. The admin staff was skilled and professional. The emergency room doctor who cared for me knew his business and included me in his diagnosis. This is essential in my case because of my medical history. I would recommend this emergency room to anyone. However, when I was admitted, the nurse practitioner who determined the medications I was to take would have put my life at risk had I agreed to it. I could not comply due to my medical history. She would not speak to me so I could explain why I could not comply, nor would she agree to call my regular cardiologist so they could explain. So, the only alternative left to me was to check myself out and seek help elsewhere.

Worst Advent Health I have ever been too. Went to the ER and was taken to a room. Took almost an hour for anyone to even show there face in my room. Dr. ordered blood work, chest X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan. X-ray was fine, blood work person(Edgar) took blood but never bothered to put in the IV for medicines. I asked and his reply was I only do blood work. The nurse having to put in the IV then had to try and find another vein to use seeing I only have one good arm. Not a nice experience. Went to ultrasound and they decided after 45 minutes of sitting in the freezing cold that they could not do. CT scan was fine. Everything at this hospital takes forever to happen. It's so cold in this hospital you can't stand to sit and wait. 8.5 hrs. in ER before getting admitted and finding a room. I would not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy. Advent Health has some nice hospitals but this is not one of them. It's old, no new technology, staff has no sense of urgency. Advent health needs a brand new state of the art hospital and some young doctors with the latest greatest technology. I am ashamed to say the least of the hospital this community offers. GET WITH THE TIMES ADVENT HEALTH.

From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with such kindness and compassion. Everyone, from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for.

Not only did they address my medical needs with professionalism and expertise, but they also supported me emotionally. One of the most touching moments was when some of the staff gathered to pray for me. That act of kindness and faith truly lifted my spirits.

I’m so grateful for the outstanding service and for the wonderful team at this hospital. They reminded me of the power of empathy and care in healing. Thank you!
