Unfortunately I’ve been to this ER twice within the month for myself and my son. The staff is friendly and helpful. Standouts were Dr. Francois and the imaging tech!! When we went in for my son as first time parents we were nervous and while the staff put us at ease, we could also tell they cared about our little boy as well. I hate going to the ER, but this Advent Health makes it a much calmer experience and they do take great care of you.

Ok. I need to take a moment to speak on how amazing this team was. I was out of town visiting family when I woke up at 2 AM with tremendous abdominal pain. I am a cancer survivor, so I have an extremely high pain tolerance. But this was so bad, I didn't even question it when I hoped I'm the car and drove myself to the ER.
The team was wonderful. There was no wait. They walked me right back to a private room. I was in so much pain I really don't remember much of what was happening. What I do know is that the team was quick and efficient and getting me into a CT scan and giving me a diagnosis.
I was diagnosed with bowel obstruction, and they informed me that they were going to pump my stomach and move me to a hospital as soon as a bed was available.
I informed the nurses about my anxiety with needles and foreign medical objects and how I typically panic, fight, or pass out. They were gentle and walked me through the whole process. With the IV, they listened to my request not to use my inner elbow, and they used an ultrasound to get the vein on the first stick. This alone warrants a five-star review.
When they told me they were putting the tube down my nose, I explained to them that the last time a doctor put a tube down my nose, I dropped. I politely asked them if they could sedate me or help ease the anxiety with the process.
They must have listened to my request because, although the tube was extremely EXTREMELY uncomfortable, I was almost immediately asleep. I don't think they fully sedated me. I think they just eased my anxiety. I do remember them getting an X Ray to confirm that the tube was in place and that they already pumped a full container from my stomach.
I was then eventually transferred to a hospital by ambulance. I knew, even in my sedation as I left the hospital I had to leave a 10 out of 5 star review on Google. Bless them. All of them.

I could not be more grateful for their care. Seriously, they listened. A lot of doctors just make decisions and don't listen to the patients. They actually listened to my requests.

Had a nice experience. Our Dr was super caring and respectful. Probably one of the best experiences I've ever had here at Advent. Great from moment we stepped in there. My son and daughter were diagnosed with Strep throat. They were given meds at clinic then prescribed meds as well for home. Very efficient and compassionate crew.

Outstanding service! We are here for the winter and do not have a primary doctor while here. My wife was diagnosed with the flu on Monday. By the following Friday, her condition had gotten a lot worse. I took her to AdventHealth Central Pasco ER, where we were immediately seen. The staff was excellent, especially the paramedic Tim. The staff was polite, efficient, and genuine in treating her. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia and transferred by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment. I honestly believe they saved her life. It should be noted that this is not urgent care. This is actually an emergency room facility, and the prices for treatment reflect this.

My 14 year old needed immediate care on a Sunday at 9PM because of a hockey injury. It was very obvious he was in pain and our initial thought was he had a broken/fractured collarbone. We rushed him to this facility and after multiple X-Rays and a very quick evaluation, they sent us home saying it was just bruised and to take Tylenol. I knew they were not confident because they came back to get him for a second set of X-Rays (in which they charged us for both). After a couple of days of discomfort and pain, I knew it had to be more. I had to wait a couple of weeks for him to be seen at a Orthopedic Specialist and right away, they in fact saw the fractured clavicle. I get people are human and make mistakes, but what makes me the most upset, is they acted like he was making it up and treated us poorly. My son walked around for 3 weeks in pain! Not to mention, my bill was $1400 from them after insurance for nothing, we were there for 45 minutes at most! They misdiagnosed it and they refused to make it right. After many months of back and forth, they gave me a 10% discount on my balance. I will never go back!

Over the summer my daughter was in a bad scooter accident and we rushed her to this ER. I am so glad we did! The entire office was so wonderful to our family. They made sure she got top notch care while calming our nerves and fully explaining what to expect. I recommend them to everyone I know and will always be appreciative of their amazing team!

Security Guard was super efficient and quick to help. The nursing staff were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, kind and efficient. After being misdiagnosed and given the wrong medication 2 weeks ago in another place. I came to this ER yesterday morning around 8am super sick with the most horrible cough ever, fever, congestion, etc. I was miserable and literally in tears. Since the moment I checked in I received the best treatment and proper care from all the staff and nurses. I was seen by Dr Dominic Iorio who was very professional and a blessing, he did the proper test, gave me the right diagnosis and explained everything that was happening. He gave me the right medication and by the end of the day I was relieved and feeling 100% better. Today I feel great !!! Thank you Dr Iorio and wonderful staff.
