I highly recommend Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness. I went to them for post op therapy after my total knee replacement surgery. During my first visit I was evaluated by Denise, the owner. A plan was developed to help me recover from the surgery and alleviate the pain I was experiencing. On my next visit I was introduced to Melody who was assigned to work with me to accomplish my goals of getting back to riding my horses.
I liked the fact that at Advanced PT you have the exclusive attention of your therapist for the duration of your one hour session. At other PT places you may be in a large room with multiple other patients and your therapist may be working with several patients at the same time. Advanced PT has all the equipment and facilities that the larger places have so they are readily available to you as needed. Everyone is very friendly and professional. You come in as a stranger and finish with a group of new friends!

I have been a customer of Advanced Physical Therapy, Mt.Dora in the past also. Today I completed the therapy to address my lumbar pain and related matters of distress. Denise evaluated me and gave the final touch with care; her associate Melody did a nice job of addressing the details on my muscles (back, waist, hip, leg) and guided me with suitable strengthening exercises. In all, it was a pleasant experience to work with them. Others were nice in the office to deal with appointments and reminders. All people in this outfit are great conversationalists while focusing on their job. I recommend them wholeheartedly for anyone seeking a physical therapy. They give a hands on treatment and not a replacement for gym.

Advanced PT is Awesome!! I have been in and out of PT facilities for 45 years. I am so grateful that my neighbor recommended Advanced PT. From scheduling my first appointment to graduation, everything was positive. Emily is always greeting with a smile and ready to help. First, I had a very detailed evaluation with Denise, the owner. She has owned this business for about twenty years. Denise then laid out a plan for me. I was to meet with Melody twice a week to rehab my shoulder after rotator cuff surgery. Therapy is a one-on-one, one-hour appointment with virtually no waiting. After my first appointment with Melody, I felt more comfortable with my sling and we started on passive exercises. Throughout my therapy, Melody was caring, professional yet friendly, compassionate and educated in PT and massage. She worked hard to make sure all exercises and stretches were appropriate for my injury. Upon graduation, my shoulder was in great shape! I'm going to miss everyone at Advanced PT. They make you feel like family and take great care that you leave there in as best shape possible. I am recommending them to anyone who expresses an interest!

All the staff here are professional, caring, and want you to be pain free and return to your good physical self. They work hard on your specific needs and custom the treatment to your needs, not general exercise routines. I highly recommend this firm.

Recently I went to Advanced Physical Therapy for a shoulder injury that had been paining me for 4 years. Denise did the assessment & first treatment, then Anna took over. In about 3 weeks, my shoulder was as good as new.
I also went there for my back a few years ago. Advanced Physical Therapy has been there a long time, they know what they're doing, and they are friendly, helpful, & professional. They are the only therapists I'll go to.

The entire staff at Advanced PT helped me return to normal after suffering bilateral leg fractures. I could not speak higher of the professionalism, competence and compassion of the entire staff. We are so glad we found Advanced Physical Therapy. My husband has had physical therapy many times at larger facilities that were not very helpful. This time he decided to try a smaller place, and he is so glad he did. This is by far the best experience he has had. The therapists are so welcoming and friendly, and caring towards their patients. You get one on one personalized sessions that are an hour long. We highly recommend them!
