It’s extremely difficult to find the correct location for ANY AdaptHealth outlet, so this relates to them ALL.

After trying to refill a prescription for CGM sensors, first by responding to a text, I contacted the company after waiting 5 weeks, when they told me they needed clinical notes and a prescription. No problem, saw the doctor and they faxed the information.

Adapthealth said they didn’t receive it. It was resubmitted. They said they got clinical notes, but not the prescription, which were sent at same time. The doctor’s office resent it MULTIPLE times to different fax numbers the company gave.

I contacted UnitedHealthcare, who told me that, yes, Walmart could fill the prescriptions, which was wonderful, as we couldn’t do it the last 3 years. I called AdaptHealth and canceled the pending order.

If you value your time, health, reputation with your physicians and their office staff, do NOT use this company. I cannot stress enough how thoroughly frustrating they are to deal with.

I don't recommend Adapthealth.

I purchased my Phillips Dream Machine CPAP machine from Adapthealth. I thought my insurance Tricare was paying for my entire CPAP machine. It turned out to be a monthly payment for me. Tricare pays only a fraction of the price of the CPAP machine. Additionally Adapthealth signed me up for their private contractor to supply me with cleaning supplies. (Of which Tricare doesn't cover). It's cheaper to buy the cleaning supplies direct from Amazon without insurance. Finally, my CPAP machine was recalled from the manufacturer and not a peep from Adapthealth. I only knew about the CPAP recall from the VA contacting me.

So visit at your own risk. And read carefully before signing anything with Adapthealth.
