I have been diagnosed with frozen shoulder and went to a chiropractor and physical therapy for treatment. There was some improvement, but I still had a long way to go. In a last ditch attempt to avoid surgery, I decided to give acupuncture a try. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the needles and knew close to nothing about acupuncture. I had a few people tell me they had great success with Dr. Phan at Acupuncture & Skin Care Clinic. Dr. Phan and Jennifer made me feel totally at ease. They have created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I didn't feel the needles at all and I am thrilled with my improved range of motion and absence of pain! I encourage you to try acupuncture before resorting to surgery.

I've been working with Dr. Phan for several months on an allergy elimination program. I had never had acupuncture before and was suffering from all the different reactions the allergies were causing. My mother is an 84 year old with chronic back pain. We were looking for an alternative from medications to manage her pain that would allow her to remain active and mobile. As a cancer patient, and new to acupuncture (with concerns about needles all over my body), Dr. Phan was excellent at helping my body chope with the chemotherapy treatment. His approach strengthened my immune system ahead of each injection, and helped eliminate the toxins in the aftermath. I am 59 years old with narrowing of the spinal canal stenosis. The disc between C5-6 and C6-7 are mild to severe in narrowing. I had nerve pitched between C6-7 last April. I had pain running down my left arm to my fingers that tingled 24/7. I was in severe pain for months, I tried chiropractors, physical therapy and a cortisone shot in my neck. The orthopedic doctor told me it was time for me to see a neurosurgeon. I was so scared and willing to try anything, when a friend suggested acupuncture.
I went to Dr. Phan 8 months after the first day of pain, not believing he could help and I was wrong. I saw Dr. Phan on for 5 consecutive days and the pain completely went away. It has been a miracle in my life. I still see Dr. Phan to keep myself centered. I am a total believer that acupuncture healed me.
