Having Dr. Prior for a primary care doctor was very difficult. When I requested treatments that were part of my previous treatment plans, my valid requests turned into arguments to the point of having to find another physician

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Prior since moving to Green Valley in 2018 and feel very fortunate to have him as our primary care physician. He is well versed in our medical history and is always attentive and thorough during visits. We have also found the medical and office staff at Arizona Community Physicians to be respectful and professional. All calls and inquiries are addressed in a timely manner and patient visits are well paced so that we rarely have to wait beyond our appointment time.

I’d seen Dr Prior a few times prior to my last (and final) visit, and found him to be efficient, but not caring or hands-on. However, this last visit, he was downright insensitive, caustic, and for the most part uninterested in my medical concerns. He made me feel like I was wasting his time asking his advice regarding my ailments, and he seemed anxious to get out the door to his next patient. This was supposed to be my yearly physical, but other than checking my ears, breathing, and reflex, he very cursorily told me everything was fine with my tests. Any more questions after that from me were replied with either sarcasm, one sentence, or rudeness. I don’t know what was up with Dr Prior on this day, but I feel uncomfortable returning to see him again. As a senior, I deserve to have a doctor who cares about my well-being and wants to help me address my medical challenges- I will find care elsewhere in the future. As for the office, they were always efficient and friendly. I am surprised that no one has reached out to me about the above concerns, however, as I filled out the survey they sent me about my visit and I wrote in detail about my experience.

Absolutely no care for patients. Only here to fill prescriptions. If you’re actually sick they make you wait indefinitely in your car until the dr can come out to see you. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was told by the staff “if you don’t like it go to urgent care”. Dr finally came out AFTER finishing every other patient for the day. Avoid this office at all cost.

I love Dr. Prior! He takes his time with his patients and does not make me feel rushed at all. I have always had a pleasant experience with the front office staff and have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointments.

This place doesn't exist. I called the phone number for it and it comes up under Cardollette medical group. It was also closed at one pm on a Friday.

Good Doctor. Incompetent staff! My mother is 96 seen the doctor in April and they will not right her a letter stating she is handicap because it is over 30 days. They would not ask the doctor. They said this is they policy. B.S.The woman is 96. I asked for a break, this is June not even 60 days.No help. My mother and I need a new Doctor. His staff are unqualified and lacking in reason.

Administration is still an issue, thus the three stars. The individuals involved seem like good people but systems seem disorganized and staff levels inadequate. The physicians and patients of this practice deserve better.

Be aware that posted hours are inaccurate. The office closes for 90 minute lunches and does not even answer the phone. I'm writing this rather than calling the office for the fifth time (including twice being dropped on hold) because of that.
