I have been a patient of this practice for the last 7 years. Dr. Zaidi is an incredible physician, but her nurse practitioner, LaTondra Rhule, has no idea what she is doing. From not reading charts properly and providing medications I am allergic to, not once, but twice, to writing lab orders incorrectly. It does not help that when confronted and asked about these inconsistencies, the staff becomes defensive per her request and come off incredibly unprofessional. When told the lab order was filled out incorrectly, their answer was "she's always done it this way and it has never been a problem." That is even more concerning considering the inconsistency in question is the NPI, referece physician, and staff signature all being 3 different people. As I was trying to respond, I was just hung up on after not answering in a single second after being on hold for about 6 minutes.

It is sad to see what this place has come too. I love Dr. Zaidi, but she needs to get her staff in check.

Best family doctor I ever had. Dr Zaidi is so sweet and understanding and her staff is always on top of referrals,prescriptions and appt reminders. Dr. Zaidi has taken every issue I've brought to her and fully investigated it and referred me to the proper channels if she couldn't solve it. really glad I found them❤️

The doctor is very nice, polite and listening to patients.
They are usually little later than the appointment time they give you, if one can wait; and that I guess coz the doctor listens to you and doesn't rush you; but like I use scheduled time buses, it's little difficult but given the doctor's attentiveness I give my bus longer pick up timings.
Yes, Some of her Staff don't know how to treat ppl, that I too fully agree.
I too experienced that, but again given the Doctor's attitude towards Patient, I bear coz I don't want to loose her.
In my 5 year's experience of Drs here since I arrived, this is the Only only one I am satisfied with.

I recently moved to Florida & chose this practice due to the compatibility with our insurance, based off of reviews online, but most importantly (to me) that the facility appears to be completely female owned & staffed.

I have seen both the Nurse Practitioner LaTandra Rhule as well as Dr. Tazeen Zaidi.

I am pleased with the level of care I have received from both practitioners.
Neither of them make me feel rushed and they both listened to my concerns.

They have also ordered outside testing based on my concerns and I’ve been pleased with their referral doctors as well.

I believe I’ve been to 3-4 in person visits at Access Family Care as of today.
When I have gone in person I have waited to be called to a room very little time at each visit.
My wait once in the exam rooms for the provider has also been minimal.

There is a slightly longer wait with Dr Zaidi once I met her I realized how she truly listened to and touched base with me on all of my concerns so I can only assume that is what she does for every patient.

I personally would prefer thorough Doctor who listened to my concerns over a fast Doctor any day.

I’ve had one virtual visit, as mentioned in other reviews there was quite a delay past when the appointment was “scheduled”.
I do understand how medical practices can become behind schedule, so this event is not something I am marking my rating less for.

However, I do offer a bit of unsolicited advice to the practice manager:
-To avoid the negative feedback the practice could simply have a receptionist call the patient to advise of the delay at the scheduled time & offer to reschedule if it becomes an inconvenience to the patient.
To prevent this completely instead of an exact appointment time you could instead provide the patient a window of time of when to expect a call.

The reception team are friendly and have always worked with me to get appointments that fit my schedule needs.
They also don’t make you wait weeks and weeks to be seen.

As mentioned in other reviews the place is an older building, it is well maintained and clean with plenty of parking. I believe is also wheelchair accessible.

Overall I am very pleased and would recommend this practice (in fact I already have) to others.

Dr Zaidi and the staff at this office are all so welcoming and caring. They always try to accommodate and still stick to the schedule. One of the best genuine doctors I have ever encountered.

I'm disappointed this place wasn't as great as I'd hoped. I was searching for a family doctor, one that my husband, our kiddo and I could all go to. I decided to try this place for a standard check up, due to the stellar reviews. I had some swollen glands that weren't draining from breast feeding (they usually drain after a few days... it happens).

Naturally, my kiddo comes up in conversation and I had mentioned I'd be bringing him in (which I fully intended on doing up until this point). This is where and made up my mind. I had mentioned his eczema and his potential cow's milk allergy. Her response left me dumbfounded. She asked me why did I think he'd be allergic to dairy if he was breastfed. "That's milk too. So if he was allergic to dairy, he wouldn't take the breast milk either" (I'm paraphrasing). I'm completely floored that a physician does not understand that cow's milk contains a different protein that some people cannot tolerate. I did not continue the conversation with her out of pure disbelief a doctor told me something so... I hate to use this word... Stupid. If she were THAT clueless on something so simple, why should I entrust this person with mine and my family's livelihood?

Nope.

I had to give this place at least two stars because, while the building indeed is old, it is well maintained and it is immaculately clean. The staff is extremely friendly and the doctor was a very sweet lady. Unfortunately, I'd rather have a rude doctor that understands the medical field than a nice doctor that doesn't. Niceness won't keep you alive and healthy.

Staff does not listen. They want to dictate your healthcare and your input is not welcome. Never saw the doctor because I left.

I love Dr. Zaidi and her staff. I did not have appointment and needed to see the doctor. I called and they had me come in and saw me. They know me and that means so much. Dr. Zaidi told me even if her PA’s see me she knows what my visit is about. If I need a specific issue handled Melissa takes great care of me. They are all very caring.
