I was hit dead on by a vehicle and was brought to the emergency room in pain… head back and knee. The EMTs were told to transfer me from the ambulance bed to a wheelchair and put me in the waiting room, this was around 6:00pm and it is now 11:42pm and I’m still sitting in pain that is even more than when I came in. What kind of emergency room is this?! Several people have come in after me and have been seen I and when my family asked, the response was that there trauma was more urgent. Really these people walked in on there own valuation and I came in via ambulance. One of the intake nurses said it sounded like I may have a concussion. I won’t know anything till they they actually take me to the back and check me out. Another nurse said this wait time was normal. Wondering if I’m wrong to be upset over the situation.
FYI… I’m finally going to the back to sit some more before being seen by a doctor (12:07am)

I'm giving them a five because the care I received was awesome they were professional, friendly, concerned. When I called they came they answered questions they gave awesome service. I know they have to go by levels of trauma and that is really the problem along with staffing as posed to trauma. So you have so many traumas and not enough staff to deal with it and they have to do the best care with what they have and I know that. I had been to two other ER's for the issue I was having and JRMC was the only one that kept me to find out what the issue was. So thank you so much for that I appreciate you guys so much.

Everyone was very professional and timely when I went for elevated blood pressure. Nurse Carlos started my intervenous line and got me back to a room quickly. A special thanks to Nurse Colt for taking excellent care of me and giving me meds to get my blood pressure stable. Thanks to Dr.daniel who treated me and ordering the test that I needed to see what was going on with my blood pressure. The triag Nurses were very helpful and professional as well. Thanks to you all!

I got sting Stone by around about 30 bumblebees coming from out the ground when I was cutting grass they took great care of me it was kind and considerate and a lovely group of people right on JRMC
