Walked in this morning and it was a full house BUT they were getting them in and out the entire time I waited. When I got called to the back, I waited no more than 5 minutes to get my vaccines and shortly after, I was headed out of the door. My son was called back and done no more than 10 minutes later. Awesome place with Awesome people!!!

Came here for your basic pre-employment physical and drug screen. I wasn't asked a lot of questions and I thought everything went well. The nurse discussed very little with me so when I got to my car and looked at the notes on my physical, that my future employer HAS ACCESS TO, I was horrified. In big, bold letters, Dr. Charlton wrote, without asking me, "Marked overweight. Signs of poor fitness. BMI 38. Significant Abdominal Wall muscle weakness."

Had the *good* doctor even bothered to address ANY of these issues with me by asking a simple dang question, I would have informed him that, yes, my BMI is 38 but it used to be 72. My weight USED to be 515 and I'm now at 234. The "Significant Abdominal Wall Muscle Weakness" he described was actually excess skin after losing almost 300 pounds, which he would have realized had he even asked, "Hey, do you work out much?" Hilarious, since I have worked out every single day for the past five years to lose that weight.

This is a perfect example of what's wrong with America's healthcare system. You take everyone at face value without even asking if they have reason for why they are the way they are. Things like this can have SIGNIFICANT impacts on other people and their success or failure. Ridiculous conduct from an educated professional!

DO BETTER.

We were staying in West Memphis for a few days when my wife developed what turned out to be an upper respiratory infection. We went to Marion Minor Medical upon recommendation of the West Memphis Police Dept.
The front desk staff was friendly, my wife got seen by the Nurse Practitioner in about 30-40 minutes, received a shot from the nurse and needed medications were called into Walgreen’s and we were on our way in just about 1 hour.
Our overall experience was very good, we thank all involved.

My family was passing through the area and needed some medical guidance and this was the closest clinic. We went in at the end of the day on a Friday (not long before closing) and the staff was very kind. Highly recommended for personable care.

I'm a 46yr old woman and a new resident to West Memphis, Arkansas who hasn't been to a doctor in 2yrs (life's sacrifices don't
judge) I am truck driver as well so Drivers ( lftys and users available pleanty of truck stops) take care of your life out here and if y'all need a tune up and on a time schedule here will get it done 1stp shop- call and seek ? my first Doctor's visit is here and today. When I say the entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, understanding met all my needs. They're honest, fast and take care of business. Dr. M. Charlton don't play around he understood my needs in all languages. When I said I need a "full tune-up with a full over haul". EKG and X-rays right away prescriptions already called in picked up on the way home. Everything has been taken care of i one visit now i have to just wait for blood work results. Sweet ? Doc understood the assignment. Thank you Marion Minor Medical for existing. Later

I am very disappointed in how the office staff treats patients and their families. I took my daughter for a physical back in August and the FNP was horrible and acted like we ruined her day by coming in for a physical. I thought to myself everyone has a bad day and decided to give the clinic another chance. When you call the office staff is very unprofessional and when you ask questions they act like you’re a burden. I am an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and would never tolerate this, and would not recommend anyone using this facility. The other Nurse Practitioners maybe wonderful, sadly the office staff sets the precedence for the practice. I understand COVID is peaking and everyone is overworked, however this does not justify their unprofessional attitude.

FYI: We left Marion Minor Med and went over to Mitchell Family Practice. We were treated with respect and kindness. They had double the patients Marion Minor Med had, and some how able to treat patients and their families with respect.
