My son got his prescription refilled on Monday (8/15) but the pharmacy was short on the pills, so they gave him a few and told him the rest would be in on Wednesday. Today, he went to get the rest, but the pharmacist on duty refused to give him the rest of the prescription, even though it was in the system that he was owed pills, and the previous pharmacist had written on the bottle how many were owed. The pharmacist on duty told him he will have to come back on Friday, when the original pharmacist will be back in. This is unacceptable since he does not have any more of his medication due to their low stock. The pharmacist today told him they had them in stock today, but still refused to fill it. This makes no sense, because it is noted in the computer system how many he is owed. We have never had an issue like this before. My son was treated as if he was trying to fraudulently obtain medication.
