My counselor was Whitney Norris, she was the best therapist I have ever had. Obviously who works for you is very subjective but she was able to help me heal from so many bad habits I had. I moved and one of the hardest parts was stopping my sessions with Whitney. Highly recommend. She is incredibly good at what she does!

I’ve received fantastic care at this clinic from Dr. Bonnie Phillips. She is very skilled, attentive, and highly trained in several modalities. I have also really enjoyed massage with Audra Moreado, which is a perfect complimentary treatment after therapy.

Allan was very personable and relatable. I felt comfortable sharing with him all of my thoughts. He was very skilled at asking me questions and empowering me to explore myself to find the answers. I continue to use the skills I gained through my processing with him. He was genuine. I appreciate my sessions with him through what was a very difficult part of my story, which Allan supported me in navigating and narrating. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone considering counseling.

While the therapist, Kelsey Fink, my daughter saw was helpful in suggesting she go to occupational therapy, we will not be returning to see her or would we refer anyone to this business.
Kelsey was always at least 10 minutes late to seeing my daughter but very prompt at ending the session. So my daughter never received the full 50-minute session for which we paid.
The last time I took my daughter to see Kelsey, she said that she would call me to schedule a follow-up appointment, as she had another client she needed to see and couldn't take the time to schedule that day. I told her I needed to wait a month before I could bring my daughter back in due to finances. She never called. Actions speak louder than words. Her behavior told me that she didn't care about my daughter.
Kelsey worked at UAMS as a medical social worker prior to becoming a individual therapist. I happen to have worked as a medical social worker at UAMS and I know that they do not get the opportunity to gain extensive experience providing individual therapy. They utilize brief solution-based therapy. If I had realized this prior to scheduling the first appointment, I would not have done so. I would have found a therapist with years of experience because my daughter is precious to me. I know excellent therapists who have worked in the field providing individual therapy for years who do not charge the price she does.
We were private pay. Each session, after the first, was $175. When I asked Kelsey about whether there were private pay discounts. She told me she didn't have the ability to make those decisions and that I needed to talk to the business office to see if I could get a private pay discount. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the only insurance she accepted. I know BCBS writes off quite a bit of the charges as part of their contract with providers, as all insurance companies do. She does not get a full reimbursement of $175 per patient because that is how the insurance companies work. I used to work in billing. When I called the business office, they told me that the therapist was the one who decided on sliding scale payments. This therapist lied to me. I would never trust my child with someone who was dishonest to me in front of my child. Very unethical. And they charge the full rate of $175 whether you come to the appointment or not. They will not accept any type of payment except for you giving them your credit card number when you first do paperwork to see a therapist. So you have no control over your credit card information. No other provider, who I have ever seen, has been willing to keep my credit card information for future billing. These other providers were much larger entities. They cited liability issues, security issues, and issues with HIPAA.
I would not recommend this business to anyone. It is a business. It is obvious by their practice of charging The full price of a session when a person is unable to attend, that money is the bottom line.
I am very disappointed in them.
This world needs compassion from providers of therapy, especially considering all of the mental health issues that have arisen from the pandemic. In a world where people are always trying to scam, steal and take advantage of people, I had hoped that someone in my own profession would be above that from an ethical standpoint.

I've been seeing Allan for about a year now. He is very insightful & most importantly in a therapist he is relatable. I've found it refreshing that he passes no judgment on my past but is only interested in helping me learn from it to better my future. I strongly recommend him! - DeWayne
