Dr. Murphy is truly a Godsend. He’s not just a doctor with a title; he’s someone who genuinely sees you and cares deeply. From our very first consultation with my sister, I knew she was in exceptional hands. Dr. Murphy goes above and beyond, consistently exceeding expectations, and she feels better than ever before. If you’re ever visiting that facility, do yourself a favor and ask for Dr. Murphy – I promise, you won’t regret it. Thank you, Dr. Murphy, for everything you do for our community. May you continue to be blessed in your work!

I have been with Codac now for a little over three years. When I first enrolled, I was given a Recovery Coach , who was really not invested in my recovery. She never once reached out to me or contacted me or anything eventually after advocating for myself, I was given Kim. Kim has been amazing to say the least . She helps me whenever I ask her for help. She’s always calling and checking on me. She is truly an amazing Recovery Coach . Codac needs to make sure they don’t ever let her go. Also, recently I was taking women’s IOP classes and Michelle was my instructor. Michelle was a phenomenal instructor. She truly does care about the women that are taking her class. She make sure we’re understanding the lessons. She makes sure that we’re getting the help that we need and she makes sure that she’s helping every single member. I can honestly say she has really helped me become such a better woman, wife and mother. While taking this class, there were some subjects that were very hard for me to talk about but as part of the healing process and part of recovery, it’s something that you need to do and Michelle really helped me talk about trauma and overcome that trauma and start Finally healing. She is such an amazing human being. Also I can not forget to mention Matt! He has been so wonderful to me and my family anytime we are there. At one point I had a little issue going on with another member, and he really helped me deal with the situation and really did everything he could to de-escalate the problem and he was so accommodating for me. And anytime I set foot at codac he is always so friendly and loving and caring! And of course I can not forget Dr. Grant. He has been the best provider I have had at codac. He is so caring and understanding and really truly is invested in his patients and their recovery. He helped me get clean and see that there is such more to life then just addiction.

Codac has saved my life and I will forever be greatful for the team there! It really bothers me when I see such negative things being said about codac and the team because they really do care about their members and really care about helping them with their recovery. I think some people forget that Codac is a support system not your momma or daddy. So if you really want to get clean and be sober you have to do the work. And the Codac team will stand by you and support you the best they can.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Codac! You all are truely amazing and beautiful souls! Thank you for helping me get my life back! I love you all!

I have been faithfully going here since 10/2023 and I have been treated well by all the staff the security the cops. Everyone is so nice and sweet and makes you feel good and not judged . There's a lot of different people that come and go at this location and I've never seen 1 staff member treat any of the people bad or mad then feel like crap... You see people who are homeless, need a shower, but they don't make them feel bad .. I love everyone here that I've come to love that's they lady in the methedone windows I don't know their names but I d talk to them everyday but Joe's Kool as hell he loves shoes just as much as I do lol just awesome awesome staff well done ..

I can't say enough good things about Codac Health and Wellness Center. They helped me get sober, and since then, I’ve been the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been. Dr. Grant has been an absolute pleasure to work with, offering so much support and care throughout my sober journey, and Dr. Popenski? She’s hands down the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had. Her guidance has truly changed my life. Codac is there for you 24/7, and they focus on your overall well-being. From managing addiction or managing mental health, Codac has every tool to be the best version of yourself. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for me and recommend them to anyone that is struggling with addiction or mental health.

My Doctor is absolutely great. I question the sincerity of the staff. I was feeling blue and decided to call for help after all that is what CODAC is for. I was told to call another facility that they could not help me. They did not bother to look up my chart and see how they can help me. I then called on another occasion the staff was of no help. I had to repeat the purpose of my call about 8 times before it finally dawned on the staff why I was calling. Again let me state that I called for HELP… H.E.L.P I was sent over to a very rude medical assistant named Angelina! And after getting frustrated of explaining the purpose of my call another 4 times to her. She straight up told me…. Andrea I can hang up on u right now. And u can call back and get someone else to help u. Mind you I did not use any profanity I was not disrespectful in any kind of way. She was upset because I had to speak to her like she was incompetent she simply could not comprehend why I was reaching out for help. But for a staff member to deny services the way she did was very unprofessional. If I was her boss I would toss her out of there real quick. Before she causes the company major issues. What if she denied a person who was suicidal? What if ANGELINA had said sorry u are feeling like you want to end your life. But I do not like ur attitude so i am hanging up on u so u can call back and get someone else to help u. See it’s people like ANGELINA who do not take pride in what they do. Looks like CODAC is counting on the wrong type of employees. sorry ANGELINA but you failed by not looking forward to working with me on my health and wellness journey like CODAC stated they would.

Overall, good experiences. Employees are excellent !
Although:
It is a true hassle to not have a competent primary care person whom could prescribe specialized meds… I’m tired of getting referrals … takes forever to get into see specialists who make referrals to other specialists or for testing. In all, too fractured!!
The “ fracturedness” could simply be a symptom of a dissolving culture.

My Bupe prescriber, Christiana, has gone above and beyond to support me. My current situation is challenging ( sick father out of town). But, she has been solid and patient with me. I know that I can count on her.

In AZ there's little to be said about mental health coverage. I have found CODAC to be one of the few places where you can really get help for psychological and addiction. You're treated like a person not just a statistic. I'm happy to have gotten the care for me. You have to be ready, to live a clean life and they will help you. Thank you Codac.
