I used to think this office was great, but my recent experience left me deeply disappointed. I’ve been using rescue inhalers for over 16 years, and never before has a doctor refused to refill my prescription unless I came in for an appointment. I explained that I couldn’t afford the copay right now and just needed my medication to breathe. I even pointed out that Arizona doesn’t require appointments for prescription refills unless it’s for a narcotic. Despite this, I was met with no empathy—just a firm insistence that they could schedule an appointment, and the copay would be due at the time of service.
Out of options, I reached out to my old doctor in another state, someone I haven’t seen in over two years. They called in the refill immediately—no questions asked, no appointment required. That level of care and understanding was such a stark contrast to my experience here. It’s clear I need to find a new doctor in Arizona—one who genuinely cares about their patients.

I saw Raven Taylor to establish care & address specific concerns after moving to the area. She was awesome! She asked me to explain my concerns and actually listened, and then explained biology in a way that I could actually understand. Also, she reiterated what my options were and explicitly stated she wanted to support what I believed was best for me. If you are a person that has traditionally been dismissed or ignored by medical professionals, you will love your interaction with Raven.

My new patient intake visit was with Johnathan Rutt PA. I was quite impressed. He's very patient, caring and knowledgeable. After over 30 years with my former GP who retired, I admit I'm very picky about my health care providers. I hope to have a long relationship with PA Rutt.

It was my first time visiting this practice on the recommendation of my adult daughter. To say I was impressed is an understatement. From the front office staff, to the internal intake personnel, everyone was very nice. Dr Kelsch was excellent! He listened patiently to my concerns and addressed each one. His friendly nature immediately made me feel at ease, and I did not feel rushed or unheard at any time.
Thank you all for such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for medical care!

Optima medical in Queen Creek was a great experience. My new PA, Madison Kowalski was so friendly and caring. She took the time to listen and answer all my questions. All the staff and medical assistants were also great. I was very happy with my experience today and am very satisfied.

We were referred here by our friends who go here and We met & found the most wonderful, caring Dr here, Dr Johnson is the best. Had time to answer questions. And did not feel rushed. Very impressed with staff also. Very caring. Gave a 10 Star rating I will say, though I was disappointed when I checked in because the gal that checked me in really had an attitude, but the gal that my husband was very polite and kind.

This was my first visit. I only went here, as a friend recommended I try them out, knowing I was already happy with my current provider. Well, I was extremely impressed from the moment I walked in to the moment I left . Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable and I felt
Comfortable talking to him about my concerns. On a side note, I found out we both go to the same gym…pretty cool. The medical assistant who worked with me and the entire staff were all just great. I’m glad my friend referred them to me .
