try to call to make appointments and no one to speak to only goes to voicemail and doctor and nurses never called me back i left three voice mails. it even says on the prompts your call would be returned by end of days but it’s been DAYS. do not recommend. also a family friend who was a patient at this office literally died cause they wouldn’t do his prior authorization for his diabetic supplies and he couldn’t afford them without insurance approval (also have recorded phone calls of the woman who supposedly is in charge of PA’s at this office saying “i don’t have time for this” in regards to doing his prior authorization and also many other dismissive comments. he went into diabetic keto acidosis and ended up passing away due to negligence of this office.

Absolutely horrible service. Can’t get through to anyone and the front desk receptionist is equally as bad. This place needs complete new management. They aren’t doing their jobs!!!!!

I love Dr Lake, her assistant/nurse and the staff. I never have to wait long to see the doc, she spends time with me with no rush, and they’re quick to get back on the portal messages and questions. Minus one star because the billing department is completely separate from their office and is HORRIBLE. But still stay with their office because I love them so much! Dr Lake is worth it!!!

Can’t even get a hold of them to schedule a new patient visit with a referral already sent months ago. Asked my dr to refer me some where else, can’t imagine what patients go through trying to talk to someone about their meds and appointments

Dr. Lake and her nurse are amazing. check in is easy and I always schedule my next appt before leaving and the reception staff is great. Also if I send a message on Mychart I know I will get a response the same day and that to me just shows they care.

The staff is not personable other than the dietician. She is a sweetheart and the kind older woman that works the front desk. Forget about talking about insurance. As a parent of a type 1 diabetic child you really don’t need attitude from a staff that should have compassion. I know many nurses who are overworked and understaffed that love what they do. We feel like a number. We are only there for Dr. Kumar(for my 4 year old), but unfortunately I’m searching for another doc as I type this out. We missed an appointment and were depending on a confirmation call (just this time). No call. They followed up and told us we missed an appt and then blamed it on their system acting up, but that I should write it down. Okay captain obvious. Eagerly Offered to give new insurance as our old one had a high deductible and didn’t cover life saving devices and she wouldn’t take it over the phone. She told me call back for that or send them a detailed message with mychart this is the big dog in the office. I guess she was only rescheduling appts. Mind blowing. We tried to fight insurance on a pre auth and they gave up really fast. Have not had a great experience with them. The doctors are AMAZING! The staff is not. Which is who you will be dealing with so take that into consideration.
Signed disrespected and tired mom.

Absolutely Horrible. I had an initial consultation via Video Conference in which we determined we needed to have labs done and prescription refilled. It has been several weeks and I still haven't received a call back. I sent a message online which I received a response only asking what I already indicated in the message. Customer Service/Follow-up is horrible even for these trying times. Cannot leave a message, cannot get a hold of a person.

I had an excellent experience with not only the doctor but the entire staff as well. Dr. Lake was knowledgeable, kind, and wasn't dismissive of any of my issues at all. I'd highly suggest this doctor and this office in general.
