My loved one visited the Mental Health Urgent Care office today- she arrived at 9:30 am and was treated with great kindness. Staff was able to set her up with a same-day appointment with her primary care office for a medication check and give her some referrals for therapy. They also gave her a lock box for storing sharps. I'm not sure if today will prove to be a "turning point" for her depression but it definitely seems like using this service is a great alternative to the Emergency Department! Thank you!

This place needs more funding and staff. They are a great resource however they are not open on the weekends or past 5pm. That’s a huge downside, as far as the staff goes everyone I’ve met there is very accommodating and I’d highly recommend the place if you need someone to talk with.
