Delivered to this adult home today and this had to be the first disgusting adult home I’ve ever been inside! Do not trust your loved ones going to this place!! It smells like urine everywhere and it’s just simply disgusting! This place should be shut down! I feel bad for the elderly that’s living in this adult home where these elderly people should be in a nice clean non-smell environment!!

As a former employee here, I would like to make a unbiased review.
This business is in a good location with many stores walking distance. The appearance is very poor in the interior but does not define the level of care provided. The facility majority of the time smells like urine upon walking in; but that’s depending on which staff member is working. The residents themselves are very kind however entitled to much more than can be provided or expected out of staff members.
I can personally does say it feel like home. People who move in usually transition smoothly within a month. The most welcoming staff member at this facility is bianca I would HIGHLY suggest if your loved one needs prompt assistance or a good laugh, go to her! She makes sure the facility is clean at all times as—
The meals provided for the residents are repetative, poor quality and VERY under seasoned. There is one staff member who can properly cook named linda (the one with the darker complexion).
The head of administration at the other facility who also manages this facility, gets things done very quickly. The remaining staff members who I did not mention unfortunately don’t take their jobs seriously or genuinely don’t care.. wether it’s because they feel comfortable yelling at residents, arguing with residents, or stealing from residents or because some staff work within the family; it’s ridiculous. The staff get paid minimum wage and higher ups expect too much.
Residents have church service and bingo provided on a weekly basis as well as pizza parties at the beginning or end of every month. The recreation advertised is false advertisement. Residents either sit on the TV all day, nap or get coloring books and crayons shoved infront of them.
The doctors that are at this facility are amazing but very inconsistent which is unfortunate, because things not getting done by them falls into the hands of whoever is doing medication.
This place does have bed bugs despite companies coming out to service facility constantly..washer and dryer are always broken so residents laundry can only get done when issues are resolved which can sometimes take week(s)..
This is a state facility but my heart goes out to the people who are paying out of pocket.. Anyone who is reading this review I would highly recommend you go to this facilities sisters property SouthBay Adult Home and anyone reading this that’s in need of a job— GO APPLY, they’re EXTREMELY under staffed and hire anyone! hope the review helped whoever is reading it.
