My husband and I had a pleasant experience with Dr. G (whether it was in the Stamford Office or New Canaan Office). He was always very thorough and kind in every interaction we had throughout our pregnancy. He also took the time to answer our questions and explain in detail the reasoning behind some informed decisions we needed to make. Would highly recommend him!

I’m not sure which office Indira works for, but she is incredibly nasty and rude. Every time she has to call me it’s the most miserable experience. She talks to me like I’m dumb and wasting her time. She also sent medical forms of mine to a completely made up email address, so I am not sure if there is now someone out there with my private information. It’s a shame that this person represents these offices considering the medical professionals are very nice and, well, professional.

Bad practice for any expectant mother or any woman looking for personalized, informative, or empathetic care. The office is disorganized and cannot keep track of appointments. They had me running around town to multiple offices for multiple appointments, for last minute changes that were not properly communicated. They spoke down to me, tried to make their scheduling mistakes my fault, and treated me as if I was a puzzle piece on a chart and not a human being. The only team within the practice that offered any empathy or aptitude were the MAs. The providers were not much better than the office staff; they did next to nothing to inform me of anything related to my first time pregnancy. The MA at my first appointment showed more concern and shared more information than the provider. At my last appointment, the provider knew I was looking to go elsewhere and their only response was "well, that's your right, make sure you get your records transferred." This practice could not care less about their patients.

I started seeing Dr. Gallousis in October because I was trying to conceive a baby at 40. From day one he did nothing but make me feel horrible but I kept seeing him until I realized he was giving me bad service because he didn't like me or he discriminated against me. He didn't want to answer any of my questions and he didn't explain anything to me. It was as if he was forcing himself to talk to me and he only was very short with me with his one or two word answers and only talked to me if it was absolutely necessary. I either had to ask his receptionist amber questions and she did try to answer medical questions as best as she could or I had to do research online. On my second appointment after my results were in from the referals he sent me to I was told the only way I could get pregnant was through IVF because both of my tubes were blocked according to the ultrasound report. This part of the story was not Gallousis fault however the fact that he wasn't nice or willing to answer any of my questions or spend any time with me was. I told him that none of the reasons online for causes of blocked tubes didn't seem to apply to me, but I stopped seeing him after I had a colposcopy. Then I went to a specialist who told me I didn't have a tube problem when we did ultrasound together and as long as my eggs were ok i wouldn't need IVF. I am now 10 weeks pregnant after having intercourse just 1 time in early dec. after I got the bad news in oct, I didn't want to because I learned from specialist who i saw dec 22 that i had a lot of cysts which had to be removed because they were dangerous and that explained why intercourse was painful. Dr. gallousis didn't even look at my records from my previous gyno. He never even told me why i needed colposcopy. I heard him tell his receptionist to set up appt for me. I had to do research and when i asked him if the hpv virus could cause cervical cancer or warts he didn't want to give me the time of day. Looking back on things i see that he treated me badly because i was vulnerable and he thought he could get away with it. I felt very hurt because i got the impression that he had good bedside manner and spent time with his other patients who he didn't discriminate against. I made a decision to see a new gyno when i found out i was pregnant on jan 4 and he is very nice as well as the two doctors he refered me to due to the cyst complications i am having during my pregnancy. Shame on dr gallousis but i am sure he only cares about his reputation.
