I switched doctors from the DeKalb clinic to this clinic in Waterman and I am so glad I did! I called for an appointment and got in the very next day. The staff was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff was nice and explained the paperwork I would be filing out, my nurse, Edith, was great and joked around with me, and Dr. Lisowski was awesome too! She went over my medical history with me and made sure I understood everything, even giving me print outs to take home. My visit was a dramatic difference from the DeKalb clinic where I have to wait weeks to be seen. Glad to have found my permanent primary care doctor & clinic!

My husband needed to find a new primary since his other one moved states. We were told about a NP at this location who could see my husband pretty quickly. He called yesterday and made an appointment at 3pm, after discussing this I told him he needed to call back and switch times due to a conflicting appointment at 2pm. He called back and spoke with a woman who said they had an opening at 11am. We showed up today at 11am and Nicole who I am assuming was the patient access specialist notified us that my husbands appointment was still at 3pm and was not changed. He asked her to see if there was anyway he could be seen because of the amount of pain he was in. THAT is when this got bad. Nicole the lady at the desk went into the room next to the office where we were standing and was talking to who I am going to assume was either the NP or the DO on staff. Who proceeded to talk to her like she was a small child. Nicole went in there to see about helping a patient, although she explained because they were already overbooked it was a small to none change. But whoever she was talking to was inappropriate and extremely unprofessional and we could heard every single word through that entire office. I worked at northwestern medicine between feline and Kishwaukee and I could tell you if a superior, or even a co-worked talked to me like that, there would be a HUGE HR issue. That was not acceptable or called for by any means. I get being under staffed and overworked, but to treat and talk to people like that is completely unprofessional and uncalled for.
Something needs to be done.

The nurse Renee was very rude
and uncooperative she refused to give me an appointment I am a long standing patient, she refused to refer me to a different doctor when my doctor was booked, until December, she said, we are referring all of our patients to urgent care, I don't know if this is how northwestern treats all their patients, or if she's just acting on her own recognisence
