Over all, I know and understand that in almost every doctor’s office you will have to wait. I honestly do not mind waiting in this doctor’s office. Why Well because all their staff always make sure you are comfortable and always make sure that while you are waiting you are being treated like if you are at your own home.
I love the staff!! They are always so very friendly and emphasize for what ever reason you are being seen for. I love how they are always updating you on your appointments.
I love how the Physicians sit down to answer and explain all your questions and concerns one might have towards their health.
I recommend this Doctor’s office to anyone..

At first I was apprehensive about what my experience was going to be when I came in for my first appointment because 1) the woman who answered the telephone to schedule my appointment was not exactly friendly and 2) they didn't call me the day before the appointment to confirm the appointment and 3) when I called them to confirm my appointment (since they didn't call me), it wasn't the correct time I had originally set (she told me 9:15 am but now she stated it was at 10 am).

To me that was already 3 strikes in their customer service and I hadn't even had my first appointment yet but I like that they are located 5 mins from my home so I decided to see the appointment through and give them a real chance.

The front desk clerk was friendly and I was greeted immediately. I provided my ID and insurance card and she gave me paperwork to complete. I wasn't even done with the packet before I was called to the back. After vitals, I was situated in an exam room and it was only 10:16 am (remember my appt was at 10) so I'm thinking ok, this isn't too bad.

A young lady came in maybe 3 mins later to get my history and other information which took about 15 mins. The doctor came in about 5 mins after her. All in all, everything is moving along smoothly and I was a little surprised.

Dr. Dayton was thorough and asked a lot of questions. He established his idea for a plan of care but dodged my questions when I asked about what medications he was going to prescribe me. He was also very forthright about refusing to give me pain meds for my sciatica (which has been an ongoing problem for years and can be very painful) or Ambien for my insomnia (even though this is the regimen my previous doctor had established to help me sleep).

(Let me also add that I am unable to continue seeing my previous doctor because he is out of network with my insurance carrier so I had no choice but to find a new PCP.)

After being examined by Dr. Dayton, I was taken to another waiting room so the phlebotomist could take labs. This took maybe another 20 mins or so and I was out of the office around 11:30.

Despite the initial experience with setting up the appointment, I have to say that the staff was friendly, the doctor was thorough (even though I didn't agree with his plan of care and even though I'm not sure how this is going to work out) and the clinic was more organized than I thought it was going to be.

I give them 4 stars because of the initial telephone experience.

Funny how they make their friends and family write FAKE good reviews to counteract the Honest Bad Reviews such as my experience.

They ALWAYS make you go to the back of the clinic for ANYTHING. Do NOT do it.
Because they give you the WORSE experience and they WILL charge you random things you don’t need or give consent for.
My bill was over $200!!!! $75 for the visit and the rest is random charges. This place is a scam. If they want you to be seen in the back of the office, RUN AWAY!!!!
I called and said my piece and they still refused to believe me.

The guy who was evaluating me said all the tests I was getting were free. I asked, I ask plenty of questions. So he straight up lied to me to upsell his little tests.

This place is untrustworthy. But it’s La Fería, so what did I really expect, right?
Maybe a professional to be professional. Not in la Fería.
Avoid this place. Unless you want to have them commit theft on you.
If you do go I advise paying with a Credit Card to File a Dispute for any non-disclosed fees.

It's ridiculous to have an appt. At 10:30am and it's 12:10pm and you still haven't been seen and you are the last patient. I was only there for a refill on meds and I was told I still had about another hour to wait. How could I be the last patient. No one else in either waiting area but me and I wasn't the last appointment for the day but others got seen before me. 😒

Needed a simple prescription refill, yet spent hours waiting. Unbelievable, especially as I had an appointment and countless walk-ins who came after I did were seen way faster. I will go elsewhere from now on. Too bad I can't give a absolute zero review.
