The power is out in our neighborhood again which just happens to be the 3rd time this week. Only parts of the neighborhood is without power, kinda looks they the pick and choose the houses. KU claims it's weather ... yes it's hot, we've had hotter, but we never had this problem until a crew was working on the lines at the front of the neighborhood. Since KU says it's the homeowners fault for using so much electricity how about they replace the lines to better suit our neighborhood needs.

As you can tell from every review that’s been given, except for a few people who probably work for LGE, this company is a joke. They put my line back to my house after a tree fell on power line. They failed to mention it broke the weather strip, that prevents water from going into breaker box. Even tho after talking to them, they were aware and even put it in their notes, but never mentioned it to me. A year later I have to replace my electrical panel, due to water going into breaker box because the weather strip is gone. They told me it’s not their responsibility it fix, nor was it their responsibility to even notify me they put the line back up without that piece being on. It’s the only power company in Louisville, and it is a terrible company to deal with from top to bottom. I would not move to Louisville if I was looking, just so I don’t have to deal with this monopoly. There is no such thing as taking care of customers, terrible experience every time I get them on the phone.

Turning off services during national emergency "flooding" wasn't able to pay past due amount because of everything going on call up there pay the bill and then get charged another "security deposit" on top of that. The lady I talked to nice person explained to me that there management didn't care that people were having troubles with the flooding and that they were told to continue discounting anyone with an amount owed. Mind you were pretty much underwater electrics been out I have a down tree on the house and everyones still trying to recover absolutely pathetic. Thanks management must be nice at the top

They’ll double charge you “on accident“ so you then you get to call Monday-Friday 7 to 7 so if you have any sort of life whatsoever it’s a major hassle. Once you’ve made it through the criminally long wait time you’re then told that the fact that LGE took money from your bank account is actually your fault for signing up for autopay which is pretty much how they justify charging your account whenever they feel like it just so they can tell you this is an issue between you and your bank BUT you now have that money towards your next bill! Isn’t that helpful? These people steal from us and know there’s not another show in town. The way they see it, it doesn’t matter… What are you gonna do? Go to their competition? They don’t have any. THANKS LGE I guess I’ll eat that credit for dinner. Can’t say the 1.7 stars is surprising to see if this is how hard working people who are just trying to pay their overpriced LGE bills on time are treated.

BY PAYING BUY PHONE...it's a 2.50 fee ,you call and hit 1 then 2 then 3 it will take you to the automated system, I don't like having to pay the $2.50 or you can go to Kroger and pay a $1.95 fee to pay lg&e bill, I just read a lot of comments , seemed a lot of you were waiting to talk to someone on the phone to pay your bill, MY 1 ⭐️ is for the prices KEEP GOING UP! In this encomy people who are retired and barley getting buy I'm talking about our Senior Citizens struggling the most, LG&E gives tips to save on your bill ,but most Senior Citizens are living in a poorly insulated houses , or apartments with outrageous rent!!! Louisville working to combat ' urban heat islands ' effect by planting more trees...just seeing this on very local news free news app Wlky News! Nice of our Mayor spending so much on swimming pools ,could have spent a little bit less and they still would have been nice , and use the rest to give Free windows Ac Units instead of fans to beat the Heat! And turning off service should be completely illegal! Just make me angry Give our struggling Senior Citizens its the Grandparents and Mom and Dads if they are still here Prayers for them all not to have a Heat Stroke or Freeze to Death in the winter!!! Thankful for Non Profit Organizations that help the best that they Can!

Scum of the earth pieces of garbage that are supposed to take care and help their community but instead charge people an extra 300$ in "deposit& late fees" when their own auto payment system fails. So if things get hard in the middle of winter don't worry your electric will be more than your rent thanks to these greedy sacks of feces.

Had to have my electric panel replaced. Electric company called LGE at 7am to have them come turn off the power … they did not show up until almost 10am. Electrician did their work & called them at 3:00pm to let them know they will need someone to turn the power back on….currently 8:14pm and power has still not been restored. Crazy that we always pay our bill on time (bill is on autopay actually) but they literally have us waiting HOURS with freezing temps to come shut the power back on. They sure are quick to cut you off if you don’t pay that bill though. They are TRASH.

Absolute garbage of a company. Filing a lawsuit as we speak. They tried to tell me I paid 531$ that got sent back to my account for insufficient funds. Mind you I have no transaction records on any of my accounts whatsoever, and when I called to get it sorted out they gave me the usual it's my fault yada yada bulls*it. I have all my records and I keep active tabs on every bill I pay. They also jacked my 140$ light bill up to the 531$ since I told them I'm filing a suit. Ku- is going down for sure. Its fraudulent activity at best and I had multiple big time lawyers READY to jump on my case didn't even have to search or beg or any of that. I've never once missed a payment and my money has ALWAYS been good!!
