I’ve been going to this facility for many years. But since last year it has gone down hill. The front desk people do their job fine but the doctors and behind the scene admin are horrible. Poor communication. They bill you for every little thing. Doctor refused to run a simple blood test. Doctor didn’t advocate for me when something was denied by insurance. They wanted me to come back in to talk about things, things they said they could do nothing about, I guess to collect another copay and bill the insurance company. These types of things never happened before this year. It’s mostly the new doctor I had but what ever the reason stay away from this place.

Waited over 2 months for a new patient exam only for it to be canceled 1 week before appt. Next available was 3 months later. Dr Joanna Evans wasn’t willing to work with us to get an appt sooner. Maybe it’s for the best, it’s obvious she doesn’t care about her patients.

I have been very apprehensive to write this review but it’s about time. I started coming to this practice in 2013 and see Dr. Ruben. He was truly amazing. He went above and beyond for his patients. He always ran on time, he took the time to get you know you, listened to your concerns and helped you the best he could. When Dr. Ruben left the practice, this office went down hill quickly. I decided to go with Dr. Bangoura. Needless to say she is absolutely terrible. She never runs on time, sometimes she runs hours late with no warning from the front desk and no apology from her when you finally get seen after waiting for hours. She takes not interest in getting to know her patients, she doesn’t listen to your concerns, she doesn’t answer your questions. She’s short and dry with conversations. She has terrible bedside manner. I went in for my annual after having a baby a few months prior to this appointment. I need to get back on some medication since having a baby and she did not care to help me at all. An appointment that takes 15-20 minutes, I waited almost two hours for her to be rude and make terrible comments. As I was leaving the room she makes an extremely rude comment to someone who just had a baby saying “you think you can incorporate some exercise this year.” I have tried reaching out to the site manager and I have received nothing back. Avoid this office at all cost!

I started seeing Doctor Evans here this year. She has been great about taking all of my concerns seriously. I feel very heard as a patient with her, and know that I can trust her to guide me in the right direction. I also really like that she does not try to push medication like some doctors I have had in the past. All of the office staff I have interacted with have been very kind and pleasant and helpful. I recommend this practice if you are looking for somewhere to be seen as a person instead of a number.

I love Dr. Evans. She is brisk and professional but I can tell she really cares about her patients. Her assistant is always very prompt in getting back to me or sending referrals. And the front office staff is always friendly and professional. Good service all around.

I’ve been going to this office since I was a kid and always saw Dr. Ruben or one of the NPs who are amazing! However since Dr Ruben left the office has gone down hill drastically. I was told that Dr McHaley would be my new doctor and I had no choice in this matter. I recently went out of state for work and when I called to get my prescription sent to the out of state pharmacy it took me calling for a few days just to get a response. NP Stewart Lewis medical assistant is great and calls back when she says she will. I wish the other office employees would follow her lead because I called last week to schedule a telehealth and they have yet to call me back. I will no longer be using this practice

Made an appointment at the end of October for the 21st of December. I ended up missing my appointment due flying out to Alabama to try and visit my grandmother in the hospital after having a heart attack and open heart surgery because the hospital didn't think she was going to make it. I called today to reschedule and due to their "policy" I now am no longer accepted because I missed my appointment. For this establishment to be called family medicine but not care about family in regard to new patients is a joke. I explained the entire situation and still I am not allowed to come in as a new patient. I will absolutely never recommend this office to anyone and can't believe I was referred to such a terrible, immoral company. I hope the doctors here and the administration all get better trained and figure out how to not be such unprofessional an rude in a time of grief new patient or not. Given the ratings of this place already though I seriously doubt they even see a problem. I will gladly be looking for a better PcP so I don't have to deal with insensitive "professionals" like this.

I’m giving it a two because the office staff and receptionist who answered the phone have always been great. Came in to get a GI referral because for the past 4 weeks I had been having gastro and digestive issues.. throwing up, diarrhea, bloat, abdominal pain, and sour stomach since being on a new medication for my insulin resistance and weight which I had stopped 3 weeks prior. When shared my problem and concerns I was made to feel as though it was my weight and the way I ate. (I have PCOS and have had issues with my weight regardless of exercise and working with a dietitian). He looked at my chart and said that in 2020 I was 130lbs and now 160lbs. I then told him that I was on a medication that helped with my weight back in 2020 and that I had developed an allergy to it and had to come off of it. Once off of it my weight instantly went up. I also told him that I was working with a dietitian Dr. Weavers response was “well obviously that isn’t working”. That comment was so insensitive that I started crying considering he doesn’t know the work I have put in with my dietitian, nor how I use to eat and what I’m eating now. That comment was basically discrediting the year and a half of work that I have been doing. It wasn’t until I tried explaining my food issues that he was then like oh I’ll just refer you to a GI doctor, that’s what you want right, like he didn’t want to deal with me anymore. I left the office eyes red from crying and so upset and frustrated. Dr. Weaver needs to do more research on the endocrinology disorder of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and the symptoms and it entails and how hard weight can be despite exercise and healthy eating. Comments that were made were very unprofessional.
