The staff care deeply about the precision of their work and the patient’s experience when receiving their care. They treated me with dignity and respect, and supported me indulging in a little humor to lighten the mood. The talent, dedication, and commitment they embody are gifts from God within them, and gifts from God that are shared with those whom they serve. The hospital only had one flaw and that was the behavior of one female nurse towards my wife who had suffered a heart attack. The verbal comments were unprofessional and uncalled for. The Nurse in charge was great and answered my questions and concerns. The Leadership lady who came by was so understanding. She assured me it would be addressed. The other staff could not have been more awesome. It started with the ER receptionist who realized my wife was in crisis and handled her in the most gracious manner I could have asked for. The ER nurses were superb and made sure she had what she needed immediately. Doctors were great. Throughout her stay the doctors (cardiac and medicine ) made sure they were aware of everything and even contacted her doctors back here in Tennessee. She was well taken care of!!! (And that is an understatement.) Her only complaint as the patient was that she felt isolated at night due to having to be on the “overflow hallway” due to improvement your hospital is making.

I recently started having pain in my lower right abdomen. I first hoped it was nothing and the pain would subside. Unfortunately by 2:30pm that day the pain was becoming more intense, so my wife drove me to the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center ER. They checked me in and started the process of identifying the source of my pain including performing a cat scan. After the results came in they confirmed it was my appendix. They scheduled an appendectomy surgery with Dr. Sims for early the next morning. I was then checked into a regular hospital room where they hooked me up with IV fluids. Right on schedule the next morning they wheeled me around to have the surgery. After the surgery I stayed overnight back in my hospital room for the initial recovery until my release later the next day. My care from the time I arrived at the ER to the ER medical team, to the fantastic nurses taking care of me in Room 169, to the anesthesia and surgical team was absolutely amazing and perfect! Thanks so much to everyone for the great care and service. The hospital food is pretty darn good too!

Everyone was Amazing, caring, thorough, friendly and welcoming. I felt really taken care of by every single Doctor, nurse, team member of staff. My life was saved by all of you after my heart attack, I cannot thank all of you enough! God bless all of you!!

I recently had surgery 9/17/24 the staff was amazing. My nerves were taking over and everyone was so patient and reassured me that I was good hands. I met with each team member who explained what their role would be during the surgery in great detail to me and my family. My Nurse on the Candace who works the maternity floor was So attentive and I don’t know if she was going over and beyond for me but it felt like it and I am so grateful. I would like to give a special thanks to Nurse Lloyd Dr.Brown Dr.Perkins and anyone else I might have missed. FYI the food was great too!!

As always I had a great experience with the staff from the front desk to the clinical personnel! Dr Creighton and Dr Mott made me so comfortable and took away all my fears and my procedure was very easy! I'm so thankful I have found a practice that treats their patients with respect and kindness!

I did the pre- sign in online so checking in was quick and easy. My wait time before my procedure was minimal and everyone was so nice and caring. Nurses were very attentive and informative. My aftercare was great! Everyone, even down to the person who rolled me out to meet my car pickup, was professional but treated me like family! Love South Baldwin ❤️

My second visit to South Baldwin Regional. An absolute delight. Everyone is always courteous and pleasant. Easy to deal with and surprisingly timely considering it’s a hospital. The staff is just great. The ladies at the reception station and register section are awesome. Absolutely caring. It makes coming back an almost anxiously anticipated visit. Thank you for everything.
