I usually dread going to the pharmacy. This one in particular due to the intense wait. This last visit I was assisted by Markus who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was extremely quick, efficient, and helpful. He went out of his way to help us with the discount card and saved us a bunch. He also alerted us to a price difference from our previous pick up which most wouldn't do. I'm stoked they have him working there and I hope to deal with him again in the future.

Went to the pharmacy with two orders from my doctor one for a tetanus shot the other for pneumonia shot. They refused to give me the pneumonia shot.
Saying I had one in 2022 and that it should last five years
Contacted my doctor he told me this is a different pneumonia shot. It covers different strains and that after one year they should give it to me. He wanted me to have this last year and they refused to give it to me.
I understand pharmacies having guidelines , but they should not overrule your doctor!
Your doctor knows your underlying health issues and your weaknesses. Meijer does not. !
Obviously, Meijer thinks they know better than my doctor as to what I need !
I called a different pharmacy Kroger and they told me they will give me the shot that after one year I can have a second and that they understood that it covered different strains . So why am I having so much trouble with Meijer!
I went through this last year with them over the same shot and just gave up , a person should not have to do that when their health is involved!
The pharmacist just said that I could not have it and walked away from the counter. I spoke with the store director and all she can do is have the pharmacist call me why to tell me that I can’t have it. !
Your pharmacy should follow your doctors orders ! Unless it endangers your life

Do not use this pharmacy. They recently lost my doctor’s order—said they never received it when I went to pick it up—even though the doctor showed me on the computer where he ordered it. I needed this drug for a CT scan—doctor reordered it but of course it was not ready when I went to pick it up the next day at noon. I asked if they could call the pharmacy in Camby to see if they had it. They told me I could do that myself.
And by the way, they showed me the box that they said had my drug in it, but they couldn’t unload it then. It would be ready after 2:00.
I’ll be heading to Camby pharmacy and never returning. Go somewhere else if you want courteous, efficient, reliable service.

Dan Jones Rx in Plainfield is AWESOME! The staff is super friendly and helpful!
I live closer to Pike Plaza, but they were not good. I contacted corporate, but no changes so I moved my scripts!

Meijer Pharmacy is unbelievably incompetent. Several months ago, I had an expensive prescription, but with a savings card, the cost can be brought to $0. They refused to believe me, would not input it correctly, and delayed my prescription for weeks while insisting I was wrong. Finally, they ran it how I said, and lo and behold, the cost was $0. They offered no apology.
Now, they have severely messed up again, with another medication. They refused to fill it as the doctor prescribed, claiming that my insurance won't cover it. I talked to my insurance company and they said they will, in fact, cover it as the doctor prescribed, but that Meijer has put the info in differently than what the doctor prescribed. The man I spoke to on the phone argued and gave false information about rhe medication, and refused to input the prescription correctly. Long story short, my medication was not refilled when it needed to be, which can cause serious repercussions. They keep making huge mistakes and then refusing to listen or fix what they have done. This is especially egregious since they are interfering with people's health.
Edit to add... I called back, with a representative from my insurance company, and it turns out it was "Meijer Corporate" that wouldn't fill the prescription, so not the story they had previously told me.

This pharmacy is far most the best one. All of the workers are so kind and friendly. My daughter is usually the one to pick up my meds and she feels the same as I do. They also don't have new workers every time we/my daughter goes there.

This pharmacy has messed up our simple monthly refills twice now, leaving us without needed medication for 4 days each time. Very unorganized staff and got a different answer each time I called. The only reason we stayed so long is Marcus - he is amazing and has great customer service.

I have to get a specific manufacturer for my medicine and sometimes it has to be ordered because the other people that make it I don't absorb it correctly and was just told by the pharmacist that corporate said they can no longer special order any medicines because they take it at a loss on their profit so profit is more important than a life-saving medicine do not get anything here this is literally what the pharmacist just told me a memo was released

I called on Tuesday to get my 90 days prescription filled before I move with my husband on military orders. I was told it would be ready the next day at 2:30pm. I got to meijer to pick it up and they said it wasn’t ready. They only had one available so I got that one and was told I could pick the rest up Monday (I move on Saturday). Which they SHOULDVE been ready since I was told it would be the next day at 2:30. Then I called the pharmacist and he had me go to a different pharmacy to pick up the 90 days supply. The pike place meijer. (Which is an hour away from my house) so I drove here (thinking it would be 30 minutes by time it’s ready because that’s what I was told) and now I have to wait 1-2 hours to wait for my prescription. I have almost always had problems with this pharmacy. Meijer pharmacies in general. I’m thankful they were able to help me get it figured out, but there shouldn’t have been any figuring it out. Not to mention I waited in line for 20 minutes to pick it up originally to be told to wrap back around the line to pick up the 1 pack they had of my prescription because it would take 10 minutes. I have wasted so much gas, money, and time to get this all figured out and I’m not happy at all because it’s still not figured out.
