Saw a therapist here for over 2 years. She was alright a nice lady but she tends to say the same things over and would forget a lot about what I told her in previous sessions or mishear what I said completely. This year she got more busy with her work so she would forget about our scheduled sessions sometimes. Last time I saw her she wasn’t really giving good advice almost felt a little passive aggressive. Also think since she is an older lady it’s hard for her to relate to the younger generation like myself. I have some medical conditions I have been dealing with for few years now and she would medical gaslight me often since she just doesn’t understand what I deal with and the symptoms that’s go with it. Over the past few sessions I saw her I was feeling like I needed to find a new therapist since I wasn’t finding her as helpful as before. We had a session schedule in 2 weeks but she never got back to me. She either forgot or she didn’t wanna see me again. Has been 6 months since this happened as well.. if she forgot I don’t understand how she forgot for 6 months.
