Rudest people in customer service. They sent my AHCCCS card to the wrong address and every time I try to call to get a new one they either ignore me or they’re too busy with calls. They’re extremely cheap when in comes to things. I need to get a spacer taken out of my mouth and put an implant in to keep my teeth from pushing back and they refuse to pay for it because they think it’s “cosmetic” when the spacer isn’t mean to be in your mouth for the rest of your life. So when it causes problems in the future I’m going to be making them pay for it and they will have to spend more money than what was originally required of them for just the implant. Changing your password on the site is difficult because if you forgot your password you need your old password to enter a new one which makes no sense.

Its like they make contacting them hard on purpose, spent 30 minutes trying to talk to a real person and its impossible, they don't even have that option and one of the lady's that answered me said that their answering machine is now working good either. It was problems finding the patients information

Wish I could 0 your better off getting private insurance at this point, the system has failed us, acchs makes you pay full amount for meds and appointment if you have health choice. Worst insurance to exist honestly

Stephanie Figueroa lack of care for the patients! She denied me medical only because I did not answer the phone because I was taking a shower. Ridiculous because I called them at least 5 times before to get the interview! She does not want to do her job, she only wants to close the cases to make her job easier.

This company's handling of my physical therapy has been an absolute joke. It's "free" insurance, and comes at a huge cost to your mental health.

After surgery for a broken leg, my surgeon released me four weeks ago to begin physical therapy. Getting the green light to heal and regain mobility should have been a positive step. Instead, this insurance company has denied coverage for physical therapy, making a difficult situation much worse.

Their delays and denials are forcing me to postpone my recovery. This is impacting not only my physical health but also my mental wellbeing. The inability to walk and the financial strain due to my injury is incredibly stressful.

It feels like they'd rather pay for future mental health needs caused by their inaction than simply cover the physical therapy that would get me back on my feet. This experience has been a disgrace and highlights the predatory practices of some insurance companies.

Recommendation: If you have a choice, avoid this company altogether. Their lack of support will only prolong your recovery and make a difficult situation even worse.

Aydee helped me through the sometimes very stressful process of renewing my dads AHCCCS application. She was attentive and kind. She made this process much more comforting than my past experiences as well. She's a gem! I'm so grateful for this program and all the hardworking staff doing their best to help those in need.

I've been getting help with Nutrition Assistance and Medical Assistance for several years and it's been a nightmare to keep the benefits this entire time. These people are very unorganized and make it a nightmare for families that really need the benefits. It's gotten much worse this year. They do nothing but add to the stress with finances when they are supposed to be doing the opposite. There's been countless times that my benefits got canceled because of problems on their end. I finally had it and stopped bothering with NA after it got cancelled again (food bank is more reliable at this point). For MA, it was recently renewed, but they need a processing time of 20-90 days in order for me to get my insurance back. I've never heard of that until today. So if something happens during that time period, I'm screwed! Thanks AHCCCS...

The one time I used the benefits, absolutely no complaints. Loved it, got me out of a bind.

HOWEVER, it is absolutely impossible to notify them of a change of address and employment. I've spent months in phone tree hell. No way to actually speak to a representative, chat is absolutely unhelpful. Thankful I'm not sick or dying or something, because this would be impossible.
