I cannot recommend KRMC Pain Management. Got a referral to go see them for the first time in January and got an appointment for April. I did not feel comfortable after meeting with the doctor. Felt like I was hard sold treatment after a 5 minute interview for an issue that has been plaguing me for over 15 years that was reinjured. No X-rays, no MRI or CT Scan was ordered for a spinal injury. Was just asked to bring the reports from over a year or so ago. That made me nervous, but I really need some relief. That next appointment was scheduled for late June because my doctor was “going on vacation”. Ok…so 6 months in and just wait. Fine. The day comes and I’m running a fever and told not to come in. I try to reschedule and nothing is immediately available. Come to find out I only have 60 days to get this done as that is all the time allotted for approval of this particular procedure. Now I wait again for approval. Finally get it, call back to reschedule, cannot get through or to get anyone to return calls. Of course none of this information about a time limit was ever relayed to me in the first place. Now we are into August. To make things worse it appears they also mixed up my information on my medical record with someone else and now that’s wrong. No thanks! I have zero faith or trust that not only is the procedure they sold me dangerous for my condition after further discussion with my doctor but the lack of organization I have had to deal with is just too much. Just a stressful experience on top of trying to heal.

This place is a joke, been a patient for 4 years and when the old doctors left and these new doctors took over, the place went to hell. They are the least professional, least friendly, least understanding and least competent people on the planet. With all these foreigner Drs taking over in town I can't even understand what their saying. I asked for an interpreter and they looked at me like I was being rude. Is it wrong to want a Dr I can verbally understand and one who understands our medical situations. My Dr told me, "In my country we don't take pain meds and then joked about good luck me finding another Dr. He then told me where to buy something called street ketamine. Then the nurse told me it's because he's opening a cash only no insurance ketamine clinic soon, at $600 a treatment. This place is very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. 0 Stars. I will be reporting them on a mich higher level than google reviews as well.

I have remove my past very critical review of KRMC pain management.
The ones to be truly angry with are new government regulations. If you have not heard of it in Jan. Of this year our leaders passed the NO PAIN BILL. Sounds nice but it is not. The government now has its feet on the necks of manufacturers, pharmacists and doctors over opioid pain relievers. This targets mainly Medicare and Medicaid. And hospitals will receive perks from the federal government for cutting pain relief medication. Read the bill. There is no point to be upset with the doctors, they have no choice in our treatment. Don’t bother with patient advocates either. There is no written policy. The only recourse is to hound our Washington representatives. This law is in effect until 2026 and will not be voted on again until then. But federal and State regulations both end with the same line. “Bottom line is to do what is best for the individual patient.” Well they really are not able to do that.
Don’t ever count on getting your refills. Everything is plan B now.

I actually haven't been to pain management in a while, mostly because I don't want to keep taking medication.

Dr.Anna is Awesome and will go out of her way to help her patients. However doctors hands are tied when it comes to pain management when it comes to real pain and real pain relief.. I had the unfortunate experience of having to meet with Tom who thinks he is a doctor who can tell who needs pain management and who doesn’t just by here fill out these 2 forms. Ok because you take a benzodiazepine for Severe Anxiety & Panic Disorder your a risk for drug overdoses…. This man has no right having a license in medicine… I told this doctor point blank I have had 2 back to A back Invasive Cervical Spine SurgeriesAu… AI have Afused from C3-7 , 2 plates , 3 screws and C5-6 are Cadavers bones to make discs in my neck. Really I’m seriously going to have to My Spinal Surgeon at Mayo Clinic…. KMRC has that the are affiliated with Mayo!!!! I will be talking to the director at Mayo very soon about the Pain Management Program KMRC has for Mayo Patients. Dr.Tom needs to be fired and replaced by a person who doesn’t judge patients as drug addicts as he does. I have worked in the best hospitals in the nation and KMRC is worse then going to a County Hospital… Worst Medical Care I have ever had inpatient and outpatient. All though I do have to give a 100% Satisfactory Care to the Emergency Care Team from Tamara The Receptionist to all the staff and doctors working ER on August 26th…. Took care of my pain and never once judged me… Thank You Team ER ✨✨✨✨

On Valentine's Day, I fell
At KRMC and hurt my left knee bad, then recently I tripped over my dog steps they are bulky so I'm buying a ramp. I really hurt my knee. So I turned in my form and all I really was seeking was having the tramadol that I I have been on , I don't even want any strong opiates because I have side affects and tramadol works well with NO side effects. I was going to Bullhead pain management and I had a real KIND NP Jenna, I was given tramadol more often and my NP here said she would prescribe my tramadol but she is not pain management, So only 2x a day and through pain management I NEED tramadol 4x a day. So we decided to try KRMC , so I would not have to travel all the way to Bullhead city when I live I. Kingman . KRMC called me back and said that I was approved for injections only, well if I am unable to stay on my current medication (tramadol) then this place is no help!! I also , have my MRI to show my damage to my left knee but only injections? I went that route with my right knee, with Flaggstaff and injections did NOT help not even the Gel injection. So I had surgery which was the best thing I did, but knee surgery was very painful. And I hated the side effects of the strong opiates!! The treatment I needed was declined and I am only taking Tramadol a very MILD narcotic. It's a shame that just my NP can give me Tramadol but Pain management who is Supposed to manage you pain, won't help. I used to work as a recovery room nurse before moving to Kingman and I loved working at Genesys in Michigan I was able to treat patients pain right after surgery and I did a darn good job a love making my patients comfortable. I moved to Kingman and worked as a nurse in psychology but ended up with blood clots in my lungs and heart failure so I was approved for disability. I Cared for and Treated patients pain and I can't even get the same treatment in return. This state has a BIG drug problem , I never was treated that way in Michigan when I had back surgery. I had the best care the. We moved to Arizona and Kingman is one of the worst places we have lived. Treated so poorly when I needed pain assistance. KRMC is not a good place to seek pain assistanc, best of luck for anyone that is somehow accepted.

I loved doctor knieval because she show by her actions that she cared. KRMC used to care about patients but now it's about mandates and making upper management happy by keeping the opioid numbers down. There is more but this is not the place. Best wishes to those in pain.

We waited 7 months for an appointment only to be told they cant see my daughter because she isnt 21. Its so upsetting and frustrating to know that she has waited so long for help and denied it over information the receptionist could have let us know about. There were several phone calls with the clinic between this time and only received this info on the last call to them. They have done nothing to keep us in informed wilingly. No phone calls or letters were received from them. I understand that its busy and people need to be seen (which is why we waited so long)but this entire situation is rediculous. We could have spent this time trying other avenues for her treatment.
