Dr Carter is the doctor at the present time for Prattville Health and Rehab. I am extremely disappointed in his attending to some medical changes that need to make my husband's life easier. Dr Carter has not taken the time away from whatever he is doing, to at least meet my husband or me. I am in the facility every day to be with my husband. My husband has dementia and high anxiety. His anxiety has escalated and I feel like Dr Carter has dropped the ball and for his care! I hope my opinion of him changes soon. Very disappointed not in the facility as they have all been wonderful but in his attention to the need of the time we are in.

I love my doctor. Dr
Carter spends quality time with me everything I go to him. He will keep you straight when you know you weren't supposed to be doing something. His staff members are just as compassion as Dr. Carter. Thank you for being my doctor.

I cannot for the life of me understand how this place has good reviews. When I called to get my son taken on as a new patient, the lady who answered the phone was the rudest person I've ever spoken with. She put me on hold for 7 minutes then picked up the phone asking why I'm calling and when I politely told her I was just on the phone with her and she put me on hold she gave me the biggest attitude. I told her if the phone service is like this I don't want to work with them and she said okay bye and hung up. Y'all seriously need to fire her. Too bad, because I've heard the doctor is great. (Oh and I've called before to try to get my son transferred over and it was the same lady, the same rude attitude, and being put on hold for an hour. This will be the last time I try.) I am the last person to take issue with people, but had to say something to warn people.

Hands down Dr. Carter and his staff are the best. He actually cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. The nurse's and office staff are very friendly and helpful as well. My whole family has been with Dr. Carter for year's. You don't find many doctors like this anymore.

Great Doctor. We love Dr. Carter, but the front desk and Nurse Practitioner is a different story. While talking to her on the phone and trying to thank her, she just rudely hangs up the phone on me today.. I only needed meds for Covid and had called early this morning and it took the answering to get it after hours..

Dr Carter is hands down the BEST there is. He is caring, thorough, aware of your health needs and converns etc. you will be very hard pressed to find a Primary like him ANYWHERE. Take it from me and all the other patients that have left reviews... If you get blessed enough to get accepted as a patient of his you had better count yourself fortunate and stay forever!
