My daughter experienced an asthma attack while visiting from out of state. We went to the ER around 7:45 PM Sunday night. Within in minutes she had interactions with registration, an RN and a respiratory therapist. She was triaged quickly & placed in an ER room. She was evaluated & treated quickly then monitored & checked on by multiple staff members. Everyone we interacted with, 7 total, was professional, kind & so pleasant! We were out of there by about 8:40. We were so impressed! Thank you all so much for being there for us when we really needed you.

Do not go here. Not only was there a long wait with no one there but they will also try to get every last penny from your rotting corpse. Went for an ER visit, turned out being a gallbladder issue but didn’t learn that from them. When leaving they told me bill would be $30,000. Called my insurance provider as soon as I left and they literally laughed at it and said they should never have even said that number nor any number since it hadn’t been sent to them yet. I had two other ER visits after this one. Not only did they charge less but they also provided a legitimate bill within a couple weeks. I’m still waiting on them so I gave them a call and they stated they were trying to charge me more but insurance rejected it, instead of going with an already unusually high bill already they are trying to still charge me more so they still have yet to provide a bill. Do not go here under any circumstances. Doesn’t matter if you’re dying, go to Chandler. They’ll make you wish you were dead anyway.

My nurse was amazing. She listen to what I had to say. She was very informative of what they were doing for me. The doctor was polite. Let me know that they were going to do labs and CT and x-ray. The tech was very quick very polite. I would give everybody on that shift that night the Daisy award.

I came in to the er with Covid, trouble breathing, and low 02. I also have severe asthma and a history of pneumonia. The doctor acted like he couldn't believe I was there, listened to my lungs, and said I was moving air. Ran tests, gave me a breathing treatment, my 02 still was low, and never gave me oxygen. CT scan showed issues with my lungs. I was admitted for observation. I have no monitors on me to watch my 02, and I don't see a nurse for hours and only if I push my call light. I asked if I needed monitors and was told no, I was good. If I'm good. Why am I in the hospital? Also, lights above the bed don't turn off. Good luck getting any sleep

I was treated and then told to follow up with my OB. That’s all they said to me. “Follow up with OB” I needed additional treatment and they failed to communicate they don’t have the resources to help. So 4 days later my infection isn’t going down. It actually is worse. So I called and they said “we are a family owned hospital, we don’t have what you needed here.”
So why weren’t you up front and honest with me right then and there? I sat for 3 hours and 45 mins. Got sliced open and sent on my way. Now I’m back at banner desert.
I am frustrated because I feel they failed to communicate they don’t have the resources to help me. They only took me to make money. They could only provide half of what I needed done. They should have been absolutely clear and upfront with me about the services they can provide.

I went to the ER and later admitted to the hospital. In the ER, everyone was professional and treated me quite well.
My only negative comment concerns the student from GCU administering patient care. I know everyone must learn, but I feel strongly that they should be well supervised while learning. The students who treated me were on their own, and it was obvious they were not prepared for that task.
I left with my arm all discolored due to the attempts made for my bloodwork. The bruise was goes across the width of my arm where the draw was attempted. I have never bled during a blood draw until this incident. An experienced member of the staff was called, and the draw was successful in a matter of seconds. Had a supervisor been there to guide the student, I feel they would have stepped in when it appeared difficult for the student and uncomfortable for me.
The transition from ER to inpatient was smooth and easy. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. There were a few other patients there while I was, but I did not feel slighted.
Overall, except for the difficult blood draw and the inexperienced students treating patientson their own, it was a fairly rating.
NOTE: The attached pic was taken 2 days after my ER visit.

This ER is wonderful, I Thank God for the people who work here. Thank goodness we have a reliable ER in Maricopa. The staff is very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable about how to treat their patients. They are very caring towards their patients, they don't leave you. They check on you often, letting you know what is going on with you. "Thank you for the Doctors, RN's, Medical Technicians as well as the staff in the ER and Hospital emissions. "

Tanner and Lynn (RN) did such an amazing job taking care of my son from start to finish. They both talked him through everything and reassured him that everything way goig to be okay. So thankful Tanner was working that evening.
