This was my second time at the foothills ER first time with my mother and second time for myself. The staff is completely amazing and I can’t say enough nice things about the doctors that we’ve encountered. They have the best bedside manner but right to business and keeping it sense of humor to make things seem less dire. I have already bragged others about how wonderful the new ER is at the foothills and how amazing the staff, nurses, doctors and specialist are. If I could get a six star, I would. You don’t know how nice it is to have an ER close to home that you can trust with all of the medical professionals. Thank you, thank you all for your quick response and your caring medical professionalism, which is so hard to find these days.

Took my son to YRMC Foothill ER for high fever and vomiting and right away the staff help us. I mentioned that my son is autistic and they were very helpful making my son feel comfortable. Dr came by and check him and listened to what was happening. My son got some labs done and got treated.

Thanks to the staff who was involved cause made my son to cooperate which he “rarely” is.

I have been their a couple times , sometimes for me other times for my husband or mother. The ladies in the front desk are always rude and the first nurse, always has an additude. I have experience different worked maybe something about that position makes them irritated with the patient. Who knows other than that everyone in the back is always so helpful and fast!

I recently went in for a suspected Kidney Stone. Blood work and urine analysis was taken the first hour. I was put in a room and waited 3 1/2 hours during that time I went to the Nurses desk and informed the nurse my pain was getting worse, She was busy. She never came back to follow up. I went out again, she got impatient with me and told me to go back to my room i did finally the Doctor after 4 hrs and said I have a stone about midway in my urethra. I was not checked on or given any pain meds that entire time. Is that normal? 5 1/2 hours I was there. I assume they charged a lot for my visit. From my experience there I feel I wasn't given the quality of care I needed.

The worse experience I ever had in my life with an doctor. He straight up lied to my face and said everything was fine. No problems with me. When I get home and looked at my "Mycare" all my lab results says ABNORMAL. Never have I ever had another human being make me feel so low and worthless before in my life. That doctor should not have a doctors license!

I came to the ER extremely sick with Covid. My husband asked at security for a mask for us while I stood outside. She did not have one and waived us into the building.

We asked for a mask again at the front desk and received one. We did not have to wait long when a RN came to get us for triage.
This was when they opened Saturday morning..

She was short and had no personality. Basically rude. She proceeded with vitals and then took me to room nine. There was a bed but she told me to sit in the chair, where I was extremely uncomfortable. It took everything I had to muster up the energy to go to get help.
She should have had me get on the bed and cover me.
I was cold and sick. We waited for twenty minutes when a tech showed up today “ We are here to take a chest X-ray. I had not seen the Dr. and declined the chest X-ray.
I do not want to be exposed to unnecessary radiation!!
We waited and then decided to leave alit had to do with the initial treatment by this RN.
The back area was fully staffed busy chatting with each other and didn’t ask us why we were leaving. Basically did not pay a bit of attention..
I have lost complete confidence in this as a place to go for anything , let a lone
anything serious.
I think the nurse should understand that she is there to take care of the patient and if she can’t do it in a professional manner and not express her snotty attitude. She should go take some classes in how to treat her patients.
After all it is us the patient paying the exceptionally high bill for our care. Go figure, you take a sick patient back and set them in a chair to wait who knows how long? I think not!
This woman represents your entire hospital and she is a detriment to it!
I do not and will not tolerate a so called professional treating me this way!
My husband noticed and witnessed the same thing!
Again, date of vist Saturday morning around eight eight thirty August 16th.
I would suggest you have a discussion with her to advise her she needs to have an attitude adjustment.

This place is great with Super friendly staff. With a small snack bar that serves coffee and some sandwiches, they also have some vending machines as well. They’ve got coolers with juice’s Gatorades and energy drinks. The only reason why it’s not a 5⭐️is because it’s not a L&D center. Other than that I highly recommend this place.
