Dr. Aguilera is a great guy; I usually shy away from psychiatry because of how clinical everything seems, and I believe that life is a lot more complex than "if x then y," like how most psychiatrists think. But Aguilera is aware of that, and he's willing to put in a LOT of time with you in the long term compared to the other psychiatrists I've been to. He will pay close attention to every intricacy of whatever you're dealing with, and will give you more than enough care to provide for that. You can tell he has a personal passion toward helping people, and is much more of a caretaker than he is just a person to manage your medication.

I was referred to him by Dr. Steven Yi, who's a great and popular GP in Santa Clarita, and if you enjoy the care that Yi puts into his practice then you will be just as happy with Dr. Aguilera.

I have never had a better experience with a psychiatrist! I had been nervous in finding one after my last experience left me in tears after the first appointment. I am so glad and surprised I came across Dr. Aguilera by accident.

He is excellent in terms of genuine patient care, communication on my medications and most importantly in helping me figure out a specific plan for my health based on what I had going on at home.

My last experience I felt like I was put through a set list of medications without being heard when I voiced my concerns. Not the case here. Not only that, but Dr. Aguiilera also takes time to discuss non-pharmaceutical ways for me to manage my diagnosis. Each appointment I feel is very valuable, and I do not intend on switching care any time soon.
