Dr. Ansari is arrogant, stubborn and unresponsive. I felt like he wasn’t even listening to me and wanted to end the call as quickly as possible so he could get back to his phone games. He’s also just flat out wrong when it comes to FAA requirements and unwilling to hear different opinions or prove himself. Do not recommend wasting your time with him.

EDIT: To respond to their comment. What don’t you guys understand about FAA requirements? You work in a vacuum. I’m in a network of thousands of pilots led by AMEs. You’re not infallible and doctors aren’t gods. Maybe if you get back to being good doctors and actually caring you’ll do better at your job. You guys are not my doctor anymore and you won’t be hearing from me.

Now you’re changing your comment to make it look like I’m responding to your comment incorrectly. You guys don’t know the FAA requirements and you’re trying to push medical practices and $$$ on patients that’s isn’t required. That’s my concern.

I am quite disappointed in the Slerp Center’s physician and also the facilities lack of organization in scheduling yearly exams.
Saqib Ansari, MD lacks empathetic communication skills and doesn’t seem genuinely interested in my sleep health. He jumps to conclusions and then reverses them and I have to pressure him to look at my sleep reports for several months rather than just the last 30 days. Of course, looking back further will take more time.
With the help of the CPAP technicians at the store , I was able to ask him appropriate questions.
Medicare requires an annual exam, however the center never called me to schedule my annual and it was at least two years or more with out an exam or any contact when I finally called the center . It was extremely difficult to get an appointment and I had to be extremely assertive to get a one.
In summary my experiences with Anseri and the sleep center should be rated very poor.
The sleep center DOESN’T HAVE ANY WAY TO SCHEDULE A PATIENTS ANNUAL EXAM A YEAR AHEAD LIKE MOST GROUP MEDICAL AND DENTAL PRACTICES.

It was a great experience talking with Dr. Saqib Ansari yesterday. It was the annual checkup and I had extra questions for which he gave me help. It was a traveling question and I got the answers needed. Dr. Ansari is easy to speak with.

Very professional but not personable. I felt rushed and spent far too much time fielding all his rapid fired questioning. He spoke very fast giving me no time for questions. Then told me what I should do and which mask I preferred. After this I don’t feel ready to be hooked up to a machine .

Both appointments with Dr. Ansari have been video visits. Both times he took the time to explain what he thinks needs to happen and then in the after visit what issues exist.
