I’ve taken many classes with John over the last 7.5 years. I have always enjoyed John’s classes because they are interactive for everyone and very educational. I have most recently taken his EMT Refresher course and I thought the class was great. I definitely encourage anyone in EMS/Fire to take at least one class with John, his many years of experience show in his teachings and he really puts on a good class.

John Hughes is stellar! Not only has he committed his life to perfecting his EMS, but he’s also a kind human being, who works his students hard while encouraging them along the way.

I did two classes on back-to-back days. The first day was ACLS with eight of us in the class. We were able to run several scenarios with cutting edge interactive mannequins and monitors.

The second day I did PALS. I was the only student in the class. John could have easily canceled the class and moved me to a different day, but he spent the eight hours with me going through all the material and running all kinds of great scenarios.

Both days were great experiences! Thank you, John!

John was such an awesome Instructor for my cpr & First aid Certification class, Funny personality and great sense of humor, very knowledgeable and was super informative, made the whole process feel more of like a hangout rather than just a regular cpr class, 10/10 would recommend

John is an incredible instructor. He is very helpful and will answer any questions you ask. The hands-on learning experience that you get in his classes helps save lives. I’m a volunteer fire fighter in a small town so we don’t get many calls, but the knowledge and training experience he gave me in his class I saved a persons life from a fatal gunshot wound and knowing the proper placement of a tourniquet in to get the blood stopped and the proper care after. I highly recommend his courses to anyone in the medical field, first responder or just the average citizen wanting to have medical knowledge for when something bad happens. Thanks John

John is great! I’ve taken multiple courses through him-an EMT refresher, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Every class has been top notch-he goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone understands the material and practices skills. His courses make you feel confident in what you’ve learned and I can’t recommend him enough!

Very hands-on with very useful props, plus John has the depth of experience to contribute plenty of real-life stories to complement the teaching. I took a course on ekgs and 12 leads from him and was able to understand from him what I was not able to from another program. Looking forward to upcoming classes from John and acquiring a foundational knowledge first before proceeding into higher levels of care. Take his classes and you will be able to break things down into simple terms and then progress into higher complexity levels. I highly recommend his classes.
