I had such a positive experience with Dr. Mahmoudi and his team. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Dr. Mahmoudi took the time to REALLY listen, clearly explain what was going on (without overly medical terms), and walk me through his recommended treatment plan. He was professional, thoughtful, and showed genuine care throughout our visit. I know he’s had some mixed reviews in the past, but that was not my experience at all. I felt heard, respected, and supported. Highly recommend giving him a chance. I'm so grateful for the wonderful care.

Excellent doctor, excellent staff.
I am grateful for all the help I've received from Dr. Mahmoudi and his staff.
When i first met with Dr. Mahmoudi, I was a mess. I felt awful all the time, no energy, depressed, I looked horrible, I was sick, sick, sick, and feeling pretty hopeless. Dr. Mahmoudi listened. He listened to what I thought might be wrong instead of brushing me off like most doctors I've seen. He asked questions, he explained what i didn't understand, he was thorough, and he never rushed our visit. I left that first appointment feeling positive and hopeful that I could and would get better. And I have. I am back to being Me again.
Highly recommend. Five big stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been a patient for years. I did a search for phone# and noticed some reviews. I felt encouraged to share my own story.
After feeling discouraged under the care of many professionals, it was not until I was under the care of Dr Mahmoudi that I felt heard. He listened to me in such depth that even when he knew in his professional opinion something I was experiencing, he still referred me as requested to rule out the other option. I needed that for reassurance. He didn’t have to facilitate that. He is a great listener and advocate for me as a patient. He restored my faith in good doctors. Thank you to him and his kind admin team that are always helpful. Sometimes as patients, we just have to be patient 😉
They get 5 stars from me because quite honestly the only thing I could recommend differently is a reallllly good private pay discount.

Was sent a referral to this office. They said they would look into my father’s files and would give me a call back. I called to check on status a week later and she said that they are at full capacity. Basically, they don’t want to accept him as a new patient. Why didn’t they mention that earlier when I called about the referral? All of a sudden they don’t have a spot for him as a patient. Receptionist was rude and didn’t give me an explanation why. Why look into his files when you are at full capacity?! What a waste of time!

If I could give a negative 10 star review this would be the one.
I saw the reviews of this dr but thought, maybe just a bad experience? WRONG. The reviews are SO ACCURATE. This doctor is the rudest, most uncivil human being. Ive never felt more humiliated, disrespected, degraded. He told me he’s the neurologist, I am not, he was a teacher at uc Davis and I don’t even know the meaning of neurologist? I would try to explain my symptoms and he completely dismissed me and immediately told me I was lying? If I even tried to express how my symptoms were he would get louder and tell me to stop & let me know that I didn’t have anything of what I was saying. When he’d ask me a question if I didn’t respond to his questions rapidly he would say I’m lying. As a doctor he should take some etiquette classes, and at least TRY to acknowledge his patients when they’re telling him what they’re feeling.
He did absolutely nothing at my appointment when it came to getting any type answer I was hoping for. He told me “ maybe “ it was this or that. But that he had real patients with real problems and I was fine. If I was “ fine” I wouldn’t have been there.
If you’re able to go elsewhere please do so.

This doctor "didn't feel comfortable" prescribing me medicine that I have been taking since 2010. He is rude and does not give a rats ass about his patients, only his statistics. Avoid.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I truly believe the doctor and his staff are truly unprofessional. They are poor communicators and health care professionals. The environment was always uncomfortable and the women in the front usually had a very passive aggressive and hostile attitude towards me. I wasn’t a patient of Dr. Mahmoudi’s for long due to the uncomfortable and negative experience.

I like that this doctor listens to what I say while getting to know me as a new patient. I like that his scope of medical knowledge is wider than many, many other doctors I've seen. I do not like that he was so intent on his prediagnosis of my symptoms that the rest of the appointment was moot. He ended up being wrong but I was so disenchanted that I do not want to go back and continue my care. He is a valuable doctor though and has done amazing things with other clients though. Word of mouth is how I found him and of course referral. 😌
