I registered and submitted my paperwork ahead of time for a 2:00 appointment and I showed up at 1:45 as the website recommended all with the hope of getting seen more quickly and back out more quickly. I ultimately, was at the clinic until 3:15, and (I swear this is with no exaggeration) was interacted with for a total of 6 minutes, maybe 8 to account for error on my part. As someone who's worked in customer service I understand that the customer may not always see the work going that is happening on the back end, but even with that I am truly baffled. I was one of two people in the waiting room, and there were tons of appointments for the next 3 hours after me when I booked my original one on the website. The primary symptom I reported was ear pain. The physician came in and was just standing over me immediately ready to look into my ear while I tried to explain what was going, and was clearly not in taking the contextual information I was giving her. It was only after a minute of standing next to me that she said "oh wait actually which ear was it you were reporting pain in?" It confirmed my feeling that she was in a rush and wasn't really paying attention to my case. I truly don't want this come off as me "being a Karen". I know we all likely include a lot of unnecessary when we describing whats behind our visit to a doctor's office. I would like to hope its worthwhile though to make a patient at least feel a little heard, and that some of the information I was giving had to be pertinent to get a complete picture of my symptoms? They asked if I was willing to be tested for covid, flu and strep and I said yes. I waited a half an hour in the room before going into the hall and asking the physician if everything was alright and she asked "hadn't I already been swabbed?" I did get the swabs for the test a few minutes later and then waited another half hour for the results; I again went into the hall to ask if everything was alright and they said that results should be ready in a few more minutes (I have had tests for all these conditions before, and they take a few minutes to produce results not 35+). 15 minutes the physician came back in, told me the results were negative and they would give me penicillin just in case. I'm not here to disrespect the time and energy it takes to give people medical care, and while I did think the actual examination time would take less than 10 minutes going into the appointment, I never thought it would 10 minutes broken up by 30+ minute intervals.

The associate at the front desk was polite. We absolutely adored the med tech who took vitals and showed us to our room. The nurse practitioner was very matter-of-fact, didn’t smile at all, and was in the room less than three minutes. Overall… It was a positive visit. I would like to see a little more cordial bedside manner from the provider… A little more reassurance… And a little more kindness.

I love that I can go on their site and save a spot in line to save time. I can also go ahead and put all of the information in the portal so I don’t have to do it in the waiting room. Doesn’t take long in my experience of going there a few times for them to call you back. Staff and physicians are kind and thorough. My kid had an issue that needed further investigating at the hospital, so they gave me a disc and her report to make it easier for us at the hospital. I only go to this place for urgent care.

I went to a clinic closer to my house, no one at the reception desk, signed in on line asking to see a nurse to see if I needed stitches for a cut on my hand after 35 minutes wait she came out, looked at the cut Specially told me yes I did need stitches but no one there could do stitches so I then went to AFC in Prattville. Had a receptionist to help with filling out the paperwork, went back see a nurse in a reasonable amount of time. The nurse practitioner cleaned the cut and stitched me up and I was out in a reasonable time.
I highly recommend AFC in Prattville, Al. Very clean clinic highly knowledgeable and professional staff. I highly recommend AFC in Prattville.

Highly Recommended!!! We've never been to any Urgent Care facility before, but I tell you the truth there couldn't possibly be a better place to go for your health care needs, and especially in an emergency. We were welcomed with open arms and treated like dear and loving family members. They took great care and special attention to my concerns. We were in and out so quickly and we even got a chance to know everyone. Absolutely love everyone there. Thank y'all so very much for taking such fantastic care of me. Love Y'all Beautiful Ladies and Gentlemen. ?

A doc-in-the-box walk in clinic. Need to have your Driver's license and insurance cards prescanned to make your check-in easier. The receptionist just provides an iPad and you do the pre check in. The receiving nurse was friendly and pleasant. I waited almost an hour in the exam room and no one checked on me during that time. PA was there about 4-5 mins. I got the meds I needed. They took my insurance and called in the prescribed meds , so all-in-all survived it.
